You can join the Treasure Karoo Action Group on Facebook and keep in the loop of what is happening with the fight against Fracking in SA, this is our chance to try and do something instead of complaining up things in our country.

  11. Ratty I agree, a 10 hour cut off would have been better. This was our first event and so we learn, thanks for all the feedback this is what helps to make it a great event! We will probably drop the fun ride on the Saturday next year and go all out with the 115km event. This means all the lucky draw prizes (R7000 worth) will also go to the riders of the long event. But lets see how it goes, we need a week to reflect and then sit again and see how we can improve etc etc. Send any suggestion per e mail please so I have it on record: makadasadventures@gmail.com Results are now up and working

  17. Ratty this event is should be easier on the body than the Karoo 2 Coast, the total ascent is 1400m.

First Cut off: 27km's into the event at water point at 3hours Second cut off: after 7 hours you will not receive timing but can still finish the event. so if you do not make it to the 1st waterpoint in 3hours , you will need to get on the backup truck if you do make it but cannot finish in 7 hours you will not receive timing but can still finish the event.
