  1. Maybe his portion was taken by the Sky team?
  2. Agreed! But he looks so uncomfortable, and he lifts his butt often as if the bike setting is not right.
  3. Shot for the updates jcza!!
  4. Answer to OP's question: No, but it might make people more aware of the dangers. It removes the incentive to be more cautious on the road/track and actually makes people think they have protection now so lets do crazy stuff. From a probability point of view, I think there would be more accidents as people take more chances. Helmets save lives, no question about it. Common sense needs to prevail. Then again common sense ain't so common.
  5. I actually think that the introduction of seatbelts removed the incentive to drive safe and slow, thus leading to more auto accidents and kinda defeating the purpose of the safety feature. Regardless of that I wear a seatbelt and will not go anywhere without wearing my helmet when cycling.
  6. Just add more resistance, thus increase your watts. You will get use to the wattage required for when you stand up, as well as the cadence/wattage ratio. Generally you would increase the resistance to get the same wattage you got seated. Results you will see for sure - it NEVER get's easier, you just get faster.
  7. And that is where I thought, other than 'Berto, the talent would be. According to Velonation 1 June 2013, The Dauphine is a big target. So hopefully they just waiting for later stages. Exciting stuff!
  8. What if the whole Saxo approach is tactic prior to the TDF? There is talent in the team.
  9. That's how I feel! Think his extraordinary ability to climb will make a difference in the last two stages. I'm sure he still has it in him to put some "hurt" into the peloton.
  10. If that's the case then Froome might have the upperhand for TDF purely based on his support team.
  11. Ok - so it is only Stage 1, and I am sure that the top contenders are not too concerned with the stage going to Veilleux from Europcar. Great stage for him but to me the others put in no effort to catch him. Moving on - it looked like Berto was in finishing bunch alone? How do you guys rate the Saxo team?
  12. If they just took the bikes, then they have been monitoring your moves. Have they started following cyclists home now??
  13. V@k - really?! Cant believe they came back, did they take the tablet and other things aswell? The cops mos said they willbe back. Ai Mads..
  14. Must cause problems in the team. I remember the old Astana team where Lance and Berto were the top riders, didn't workout that well
  15. Why would the votes for Froome be higher than for Wiggo? I thought there was only one top rider in a team?
  16. How does this news affect your TDF predictions?
  17. Now that you mention it, can remember him doing that. But I liked his calm style of riding and climbing ability
  18. I really like Andy, but I don't think he is ready for this years TDF. Lost some faith in him.
  19. Pity - think it will always be on the mind of the 2013 GC rider - "what if Wiggo was riding?"
  20. Legendary!!!!! Made my day!
  21. Hey RomanR03 Search for a fred "Durbanville Area Roadies" - you will get loads of responses on there and the guys/gals are pretty awesome!
  22. Thanks. Been "watching" the tour for the last 2 years, so hoping this year to really watch and learn all the intricate tactics and politics etc. Should create a fred - TDF for dummies
  23. So you align more with riders rather than teams? Scarponi rides for Lampre right? GC an option?
