I can guarantee you that it will be tougherer. If you are not sure, that 10km ST climb at the start will make you understand what you let yourself in for.

I never ride without proper boots. Not even when commuting on my XT660R to Ape Town. I often get laughed at when I enter the office in my full adventure riding kit and boots. If you happen to see a bloke riding his XT660R in full RST adventure kit and boots, that will be me probably.

The KTM 300 is also quite "special". Best comment I have read about that bike is a bloke that said that everytime he climbs onto that bike, it is trying to kill him.
