  1. For the (hugely) uninformed, South Africa is fully connected to the rest of Africa, which really provides some scope to roam. It also means there are zebras. Around the lower edge is the ocean where it is also possible to ride temporary trails by board, providing scope to be swallowed whole by a shark. We'll keep dry. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb10804576/p5pb10804576.jpg http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb10804579/p5pb10804579.jpg
  2. by Nathan Hughes GSADEJ- The Great South African Deutschlander Exploration Journey. That was the original name of this mission to enjoy the fruits of a far away land by bike with two of Germany's finest downhillers before the 2014 World Cup season lift-off... it was a concise and precise coinage you can't deny, but in the end it wasn't much of an exploration. Africa's a big island and neither Trek's Steffi Marth or Liteville's Jasper Jauch knew first-hand of anything bike outside Pietermaritzburg. In just a few days of this alternate hemisphere discovery we would find enough in the surrounds of Stellenbosch alone to know we were out of our depth mapping the length and depth of this new-found mountain bike kingdom. You should go and see for yourself. South Africa is calling. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb10804569/p5pb10804569.jpghttp://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb10804570/p5pb10804570.jpg

  9. Slight HI jack............. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb10776857/p4pb10776857.jpg The data is in. In a straight line, on a smooth surface, in a laboratory environment, 559 is the fastest. Hands down. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb10776233/p4pb10776233.jpg Because the jump in size between 559 EnduRAD and 650b is so small relative to the jump between 650b and 29", 559 is ideally positioned to help 650b riders find that extra edge. 559's size positions it to excel in the aggressive, long-travel enduro market, and when you get on 559 we think you'll feel the difference immediately. Can you feel it yet? It feels like Enduro. http://es.pinkbike.org/sprt/f2/s/193.gif jackiead (Apr 1, 2014 at 10:10) Everyone realises that 559, is 26" right?
  10. http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb10787330/p4pb10787330.jpg http://es.pinkbike.org/sprt/f2/s/0.gif dirtstar59 (5 mins ago) Enve makes nice product. Damn expensive but nice....however I wonder if Enve and Ibis are exceeding (aka larger circumference) ETRTO rim standards in order to make the hookless bead work. Hookless designs are actually quite ancient and are of course used in moto and auto..in theory they should work very well but ..if there is any type of malfunction due to tire rim incompatibility then there is a concern with the rims not following international standards...

  17. Dont think dibs or take it thats the real problem here... its ettiquette ..and buyers and sellers using the advert which they placed to give corresponding feedback which is the issue.. some dont really give a toss about the AD once theyve got a PM fish on the line
  18. For me DIBS means DUDE!! I BUY STUFF<>I WILL TAKE IT.. apparently for some pms mean more than any wording on the ad...
  19. if you pm seller with sale just ..either buyer or seller say so in text on AD.. simple ..provisionally sold or pending
  20. Yip can leave buyer feedback .. LONGTIME
  21. Ye i dont agree with dibsing something to wait 2 weeks.. if i dibs something I WANT IT .. AS IN NOW IF YOU AS the SELLER can deliver before i can FETCH.... I dont need you to nurture it ... if dibs is not payed/or responded too in 2 days... i move to next..
  22. These okes that are all about the money,,.. dont want your crap anyways ..cause if there is a issue with said part .. might be drawing blood from a stone to get cash back out your tight ass... if you just about the cash..
  23. Had it a few times these ghost PM,s that happen off AD when youv'e already Dibs'dDDDD... Whats the point of the AD then and the correspondance..... ie .. clarity and verification of whats actually going on to all the potential buyers... Bunchofcobblers....
