  3. I can tell it does work. Most of my training is done on IDT and using Intervals. Within 6 months of starting to cycle and coming from a background of no sport I did one Double Century and did my first Argus in 3.40 I still train using intervals and see huge improvements each month,
  4. Why are there 3 home altitudes on the Rox 9.0 When setting up for altitude/Incline one has three values to enter in: 1) The home altitude i.e. where one lives or stays 2) The altitude of where one is riding. I assume at the start of the ride. Does one set this everytime one is starting a ride. 3) Or one can set the Barometric pressure reduced to sea level in lieu of 2 above. If one does take option 2 does one set option 3 to 0 or vice versa Where can one get a detailed information of the information required above....and no weather sites only provide information where there is a weather station.
  5. AM is guilty last year I emailed him and asked him about this....his words to me in email was he made a mistake and in hindsight it was wrong....that admittance of guilt. From what Ive seen of Cylcelab prices.....they went ahead anyway,.
  6. This is not the only incident. I was in T group and we were coming along Glencairn. I saw an old VW fox in one of the service roads waiting....No Marshall. I thought at the time I hope this guy doesnt come in. As we go past Simonstown Train station this Mother F comes along driving in amongst the cyclists....he goes past numeous marshalls and traffic police and no one stopped him. And no there were no offical markings on the car....he turned into one of the side roads in Simonstown by the town centre.

  9. I have a comapgnolo groupset with an 11-23 cassette and a XENON 9 gear rear derailler. I want to upgrade the cassette to a 25. Can this be done with the current components or will I have to replace some part or the entire groupset.
  10. It looks like my team has come to an end due to there being some underhand business by the leader which resulted in our entry not being paid.....which makes me available. Im not looking to race along....I am an okay rider. Looking for a team thats out there to have fun. By tomorrow morning I will know if my team is not going. Let me know
  11. I agree the starting etc was well organised....but the marshalling on the race was terrible. My general feeling was most of the marshalls just were not interested. I just spoke to a resident in Noordhoek, and she had the same comment. She thought the marshalls just were not interested.
  12. I would be interested to hear peoples views on the Cape Cobra...here are mine I thought this had to be the worst organised race that I have seen in my life of riding. Firstly, the route and distance only announced this last week. Then we pay more than usual and yet we didnt seem to get more value for money, not even a recognition that we did the race like we normally do. Then some of the marshalls, actually most (there very few who were good) were more interested in sitting on their asses or talking than directing cyclists. On the way down from red hill there was one marshall who was doing nothing, just standing and wathing. The group I was in shouted at him "which way" he just looked at us....so some turned left others went straight. Those that turned left then realised they were going the wrong way. I have heard of similar stories from other cyclists as well. On the turn into Black hill, two marshalls were laughing and chatting to each other while we tried to turn onto black hill with cars turning right....it was huge chaos.... Interested to hear other peoples view before I send an email to PPA
