  1. Is that bike f&$king salmon.?! 😳😳 🤣🤣🤣 kidding, congratulations.! 💪🏼🥳🤘🏻
  2. I’m the good looking one, obviously.. 🙄 🤣🤣🤣
  3. I never ride without a casquete since I discovered them.. for us baldies it makes wearing a helmet way more comfortable and keeps sweat from rushing down my face.!
  4. Hello.. I am Mike, I have a strange sense of humor, I can be quite vulgar and I am covered in tattoos, I also have a ginger beard.. I live in jozi but am from Cape Town.. my late teens and twenties were spent in a haze of drugs and alcohol that nearly killed me, twice.. I got clean 7 years ago and started eating myself to 85kg, at my height that’s quite chubby.. A year ago I bought a mountain bike and started riding trails and on road for fitness.. I found myself spending more time on roads as driving to trails became a hack and time that could be spent cycling so I bought a gravel bike 6 months ago, which I almost exclusively ride road with and I love it.. I am actually very friendly despite my appearance and a generally happy and pleasant person.. Thank you for having me..!😉🤘🏻
  5. Yeah I’ve dealt with psoriasis, excema, since I was a kid.. and my wife as well, she is also from a skincare background.. there’s a number of things you can try before consulting a dermatologist..
  6. These bike shops are seriously taking the piss man.! 🤦‍♂️😭
  7. Yeah that’s what I was trying to remember.. mylocort, or lamisil.. try a little dab of that twice a day and after a ride..
  8. Also what I was going to suggest.. a sort of barrier cream to keep sweat from the area, and possibly ride with a casquete.. if it is a dermatitis/psoriasis you can also try athletes foot cream so you don’t have to go get a prescription for a persivate cream or some other steroid cream..
  9. And you not developing a rash or eczema/dermatitis/psoriasis in that area.? Anything noticeable with your skin there.?🤔
  10. Checking out evobikes.co.za, got some good deals.! 🤘🏻😃 thanks OP
  11. Nah, sometimes it’s expectations and feelings of self importance that need to be realigned.. And the hub will sort that **** out quick sticks 🤣🤣🤣
  12. I have a webstore, I sell Products to people.. one of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt is that you can’t make everyone happy no matter how hard you try.. some people just suck and the sooner you accept that and don’t let it bother you the happier your own life will be.. (OP I’m not saying you suck, I don’t know you, I’m just making a broad statement)😉🤘🏻
  13. Understandable.. my marriage would be a lot more stable if I resisted saying certain things out loud.. I don’t, so it isn’t .!🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤣🤣
  14. Also, are you a journalist by any chance.? 😳🤣 you’ve done a fantastic job of cutting up a quote so it’s out of context making the quoted sound like a ******* idiot..🤦‍♂️🤣🤣 maybe I am an idiot..? Now I’m questioning myself.!! 😰 gees again, well done.!! Maybe this is how Britney feels🖕🏻..
  15. Wasn’t advice.. was an observation based on common sense from what I’ve been told and have read about power meters.. I have no practical experience with them though..🤷🏼‍♂️
  16. I mean I have no experience with power meters but this doesn’t sound right.. for training plans and specific workouts it will tell you to hold a specific amount of watts for various periods of time, and they range in accuracy up to like 4% I think I’ve seen.. I would say it’s malfunctioning
  17. Yeah fair but the part clips on and off real easy.. would be such an easy swap out.. maybe easier to go straight to omnico.. I believe they are the distributor.. I mean, I told them I broke it and they didn’t jump off their chairs to give me a new one..🤣🤣 And I like the shop so I’m not going to press on anything..
  18. I spoke to them and they took my details to see if they could get a replacement but nothings come of it yet.. so just trying my luck here before I go actually go back in and see if they could find the part..
  19. Yeah I think it’s good to get the word out even if there is an insurance claim happening, and make these bikes unsellable to our community once stolen and reported to the community as stolen.. might stop this from becoming a bigger problem.. but then again they will probably always find a buyer as people love a deal and are quick to look the other way.. “oh I didn’t know the 200k bike I just bought for 50k was stolen🤷🏼‍♂️..” yaa right,pal..🙄
  20. Yaa sorry mate, **** happens.. most of the biggest lessons we learn are expensive🤷🏼‍♂️🤙🏻
  21. Okay yeah it just sounds like one of those deals where both parties didn’t want the hassle.. it’s not a scam, it’s just shitty service.. which is just as frustrating I’ll give you that..
  22. Hence I desperately needed to know more.. for some clarity..
  23. And it was sold to you as new.? not second hand..? I’m pretty sure if they sold it as new you would be protected by the consumer protection act and they would have to exchange it or refund you.. I’m not a lawyer so don’t quote me on anything but I think you’d have some sort of case🤷🏼‍♂️.. was finding the agent for silverback SA and going directly to them for a warranty claim or something like that not an option.? I say that assuming that it was sold to you as new..
  24. Gees that’s pretty hey.! 😍 the scenery, not you guys😳🤣
