Hahahaha I have a cheap and cheerful pair of GTL shoes, they fine for now, well I had to put inserts in to get the support I was looking for.. I’ll upgrade in the near future, but to a pair of Lake I think.. I got a Met mile white helmet the other day,(decent helmet for the money) when I get a black helmet I will really consider a spez..🤣🤣

Yaa courier guy is really good.. I use them everyday.. in three years I’ve had maybe 5 things go wrong and they sorted it out quick.. find out the closest depot and who the area manager is and give your waybill to them, if it’s there they’ll find it.. I have had one instance where the driver was being a shady scumbag.. but again got sorted out super quick..

Yaa go ride it.. just knowing your height isn’t good enough to determine bike size.. you might have short legs or shorter torso etc for your height, you see what I’m getting at.. Shop asssistance will also determine your size just by looking at you and that’s also no good.. I was told I was every size under the sun by different shops when I was getting into mtn biking.. get a pro bike fit or test ride and see what feels the best..

I also thought it sounded very resentful.. I have one mate that cycles on weekends as he works full 9 to 5.. I have flexi hours.. i can ride more often, so I do, on my own.. if you see me laying ina ditch bleeding out feel free to carry on with your day.. I made my choices, I’ll live with them.!🥹🤣🤣🤣

I did the whole sit on cardboard and measure the impression to get my sit bone width and bought the corresponding size ergon saddle for mountain bikes.. then transferred the saddle onto the gravel bike and it’s awesome, I love that saddle..

I have a gravel bike, although you could argue that my Scott speedster 10 isn’t really a “true” gravel bike.. I have removed the flared drops as I needed 400mm bars and love just the regular drops.. I run 32mm slick tires and spend 99% of my time on road.. I am absolutely loving it.! I can descend up to 70km an hour, and the cassette being 11-32 makes climbing a a lot of fun.. about a year of riding mtn bike and I’ve had this bike for about 4/5 months, I get up to 25km per hour average around jozi north if I’m feeling spritely🤣🤣.. about 22/23 on a slightly more relaxed effort.. and I definetly feel as I get stronger the bike will be able to manage a much faster average.. I won’t outride this bike for a very long time a reckon..
