  1. Nice website!
  2. Haha Yikes! I have a Cannondale and drive a Land Cruiser... won't mind an RS4 though... in blue.
  3. Yeah that is a good looking bike. If ever I had to go back to a Hardtail that would be my choice.
  4. Check out the SAVE seatpost if you want to go softer on a hardtail. Oops, also a Cannondale product.
  5. In my opinion Lefty trumps Carbon any day. But maybe I'm biased.
  6. Agree 100%. I had a set of Geax Barro Mountain once and they "felt" hesitant and wrong when riding. I had zero confidence with them and as a result the bike as well. Took them of and put on a set of Maxxis Crossmark's and all was good again. Tyre choice is probably the most important choice on a bike, they are the only contact point between you and the terrain.
  7. Really enjoyed the event, well organized and loads of fun.
  8. The service from Evobikes is excellent. Ordered on Friday delivered on Monday. Thank you.
  9. Please share some of the wisdom. I'm still deciding between a 32t vs 34t with 11-36 setup. I've been testing the ratios and the upper difference between 0.889 (32t) and 0.944 (34t) is a lot on your legs.
  10. The reality is that any shop, not just Bikes shops, has higher overheads than pure online shops. A 50% markup is little, at any shop in a shopping mall the markup is closer to 100%.
  11. Went and got me this:
  12. Omnico is the distributors of Cannondale. Checkout their website at www.omnico.co.za
  13. If I may ask, why did you choose the Rize over the Scalpel?
  14. Does anyone own one of these beauties? Any comments. Thinking of getting one or maybe a 2hand Scalpel. I've only ridden one of these in the car park of the LBS and it was very supple and surprisingly light. Obviously built more for marathon but can one do XC stuff as well, how well does it climb and so on. Well priced for the spec at R27k. Trying to make an informed decision
  15. Also always check the specific manufactures sizing chart, an XL Specialized and XL Giant might not be the same. For example Scott’s website has a suggested sizing chart for all their models.
