  3. I have heard a couple guys mentiontion spraying a bike with Spray n Cook helps prevent mud sticking to your bike & parts when riding muddy conditions? I would like to see what peoples views & opinions are in this regard? Personally i have not tried it - sounds a bit wierd though.wackwack2008-11-20 23:57:03

  6. It's a wooden pegboard. I got the magnetic strip from Plumb and Tile in Beyers Naude drive - diagonally opposite Lucio's' date=' one of the world's last surviving independent Italian restaurants. I know they have four more, because I saw them there yesterday. R89 each, if I remember correctly. [/quote'] Thanks - gonna try swing past there today on my way home!
  7. Is it a steel peg board or a wooden one? Where exactly did you get that magnetic strip from?wackwack2008-11-20 03:02:43

  11. Spud - I got a mate who did epic 2 years ago with his sportmans warehouse olympics. He then got Louis Garneau shoes becaue his olymics are not brand name'ish enough. They lasted a couple months - then back to the same pair of olympics. He then got shimano takkie type shoes. They are almost dead now too. His brother still wears the same olymics 3 years later that he too got for the epic. Now thats value for money.wackwack2008-11-17 07:11:30

  13. I chated to one of the guys on the unicycle. it's something crazy like a 39" wheel and u need to counter-act when braking. they have a website: www.unicycle.co.za
  14. D O U B L E R E S P E C T !
  15. If you look carefully - there is a flap on the tongue of the shoe that the laces tuck into. Clever designer. They were not good enough - cos you over took me!
  16. I won't lie - i did get slight hot foot when i did the cradle quest (220 odd km). Nothing that serious though. All i did was just turn the crank and got the blood back to my right foot for 15secs or so. Nothing hectic
  17. My 10c worth. When i start mtb'ing i got hard soled shoes. They look lekker fancy when riding but walking over rocks stuff & walking in general - they ***. The studs hurt my feet after walking a bit & they slip on rocks. I recently got a lekker pair of Adidas on special for like 500 ZAR Ronds. They look just like takkies. Flipping comfy, nice to walk in & super to ride in. You can even wear them to the shops & any non cyclist would not know the difference. So i have both & the softer takkie type shoe is the SHIZ NIZZ aka "the business"
  18. This happened in farmall. Yes he was alone. My mates & I ride in Farmall just about every friday & sunday. We have been warned a few times by arb passers by to be careful. The guy in question is actually the neighbour of my mate we ride with. I will try get more details tonight. If you are coming up along Malibongwe towards the Lion park intersection - just after the dip on your right hand side you will see a gravel road going into farmall. It was a couple 100m down that road. From what i heard. "Wishing you a speedy recovery"

  22. Porn*, For me it's all about the flavours. I buy GU for 2 reasons only. 1) I prefer a thicker gel 2) It has a plain flavour & a vanilla flavour I do not eat fruit - out of the 4 gels you have on offer 3 are Berry flavour & 1 Kiwi..........which flavour would you like me to buy? That is what has stopped me trying out your product "use it - don't use it" Buying in bulk should also be a must, with a discount of course.
  23. JB, I will be interested in attending
