  12. wow they are giant blue! a set with the white GEAX tires would look spectacular!
  13. no the bearing will NEVER do that. the wheel bearings feel as god as new even after 5000km. the freehub bearing just become stiff BUT the 09 model mavic claims to have sorted the problem. feel free to pm me if you have questions
  14. you call and ask. we have 8 giants in the house, 4 sets of slr's and a pair of mavic fury shoes. I know Marco and the boss of dragon personally. want to question me further?
  15. mavic's freehub bearing do need service now and then but you will see when because the freewheel dont spin as freely as usual. other than that they are SWEET
  16. yes. but in my eyes it is erelavant. the wheels are superb. we have 4 sets in the house. no bearing issues, no spoke breaks(they use ZACRILL spokes and cost R35 per spoke depending on shop). they are roughly 1.6kg, SUPPER stiff and VERY racy. they are the stiffest of the 3 wheelsets. P.S. i am talking about the mavics
  17. mavic has an 85kg weight limit! Most people dont know this.
  18. most of them dont know a ralleigh....
  19. i am left handed so i have the stronger(front) brake in my weaker(right) hand. but that is the way the giants comes, when the front brake is in the left hand it is known as DOWNHILLER setup, dont know why.
  20. Crank Bros SL. I am temted to try tte LOOK, but compared to Crank Bros and Time it is FUGLY and BULKY. mud clearance would be great as with the CB and Time but getting the mud out of the pedals after the race would be a hassle. Thats just my point of view.. no calves2009-09-06 04:18:33
  21. must be a fault on crc
  22. wouldn't say its 160k because of the weight, BUT that is light..
  23. Rougly the groupset is 70k, wheels 25k, frame 20+k, saddle 2+k, brake callipers 3+k. add it up and your bank manager sH@ts his pants no calves2009-09-05 11:39:21
