  1. Sounds like you had an eventfull ride Woolf.
  2. I've updated to version 3 recently and have had no issues. But I also get the issue with 'multiple HR found' and with this it has happened twice with me in races that the HRM is just ignored and I have no HR monitoring for the race. I'm also interested in finding a solution that will NOT search for HRM, but lock into the HRM with the ID as setup on the device. The last time this happened I was already on version 3 (so it's not just a problem with older versions). Anyone able to assist?
  3. Wonder what is happening to the seeding indexes. A bunch of us at work (+- 5 guys) all had good races at Hazeldean (compared to our normal positions, time, etc.) - I would say better as then past races and all of our seedings went up by 2 to 5% in the last calculation. I understand the calculation process (SAS seeding document), but I've never trusted the process and it's not replicable for Jo Soap. Jo Soap cannot calculate his SAS Seeding index to confirm. In golf every golfer understand the handicap system and can calculate your own handicap and it matches the handicap system. Even the system is more 'user friendly' as it shows you more information in terms of which scores count and which not, etc. etc. I really think they need to get a better system, simpler and more predictable.
  4. Thanks, at least I know my measurements (setup on the garmin for tyre size) then results in pretty close distance to GPS data :-)
  5. I measured 43.82km with my garmin edge 500 for the 40km race (but it's using the speed / cadence meter - not the GPS distance). According to google earth (gps data exported to google earth), the distance was 42.2km.
  6. Congrats Tim!! This 40km Haezeldean was the best one I've done in the last 3 years. The marshals, route markers, route itself, congestion or rather lack thereof :-) was great! Absolutely fantastic compared to the congestion from previous years - well planned!!! I quite enjoyed the later 9am start. Not as cold as last year :-). Being sick the last 2 weeks didn't result in the best race for me, but I really enjoyed the route. Hope the rest of the series brings more of the same. Looking forward to Cullinan - already entered.
