  3. i have been to cyclefit for my road bike setup, Richard is great!! If Activeworx bike setup is anything like their other products i would also highly recommend them!! they do the coaching for MTN Qhubeka and are very professional. i need a bike setup on my mountain bike, awaiting confirmation from Richard on a time i also heard that Gary Beneke in the south is also great! oh and i have bought a few items from Design in Motion, also very very professional !! ps... chatted to a chap at Linden cycles, he said they dont charge for a basic setup
  4. thanks G-Unit, i will remember the flatbox trick for next time, i did sit an camp for some time at the beginning when you turn into the "forest" yes i do own one, i have a black one, i was parked on the left hand side of the sand road before you entered the main parking

  11. they trek is awesome, but they don't have stock of the hard tail anymore and i can't really afford the soft tail!
  12. yah i think you right Tubeless, especially with being a 29er a medium frame might be a lot easier for me to maneuver,
  13. Seems I agree with the better groupset, I don't know much about the MTB spec's but its seems the Deore XT is a pretty decent groupset ??
  14. Thanks Berg Bok, seems a large in the 29er is a 21" which seems to be too big, they are swapping for a 19" frame
  15. thanks hendrich, i have been told its the same carbon as the merida's the titan also has a much better group set, wheels and front shock compared to the Trek! i do agree that a lifetime warranty is a major bonus.......
  16. thanks for the replies guys, really not sure what to do ! the gent at the bike shop said he would not be happy selling me the large, even though i was there to collect it, i had to ride it up and down the entrance for him to check, guess he would not be saying that if he did not care.... guess i should maybe list to him.....? i guess a medium frame would be easier to control either way? also something to mention is when i was looking to buy my first MTB which is a large 26er, i was told by the guys at Mike's Bike's to go for a medium as well,
  17. Hey Hubbers..... need some advice here please looking to purchase either of these 2, both are nice in my mind, need to choose one Trek Superfly Carbon 29er (SRAM X7 + X9, Fox Evolution Series 32 Shock) http://www.trekbikes...perfly/superfly +/- R 19k or the Titan Carbon Pro 29er ( Full Deore XT groupset, RockShox Reba RL DA shock) http://www.titanraci...ke=Carbon29RPro +/- R 18k
  18. i am 1.77m, its a Titan Carbon Race, i just manage to stand over the head tube,
  19. hey hubbers i am buying a 29er, actually went to pick it up today, to my sadness the frame was too big for me! i generally fit on a large, but on the 29er it seems i need a medium! i guess that makes sense and is normal??
