  1. Must agree. We have a Titan with a carbon fork - Cost R10 000. Bargain!! The only thing I would change in the future is the Tiagra groupset..... but it have to break first.
  2. My stoker pushed a banana in my mouth from behind up chapmins peak. I opened a case against him for attempted murder...
  3. You mean it isn't just thehubsa? The stocker are always right. The stocker never makes a mistake.... If the Captain realize that... then you have no problem.
  4. Waddya mean? 15 years ago they had square chainrings... they called them "Biopace" didn't last then either... I meant that after 15 years of tandem riding... I discovered Q-rings....yes it was biopace then.. not the same... Point is - that my stoker and I battled up the hills.. mainly because of our different points of our powerstroke. Now with Q-rings we fly!!! Fact.
  5. Tandem is the best way of cycling that I've ever done. It's actually amazing how many great riders out there has never ridden Tandem before. Another great discovery I've made the last 2 months is Q-rings. Budget and put them on straight out of the cycle shop. It gives you and your stoker a much more even power stroke. The best thing ever on uphills. Or don't put them on.... and discover the difference... 15 years later... like me. And yes... as soon as you get the "stoker is always right idea" in your head... the better your tandem cycling will become.
  6. I had an Excocet before... but not making those anymore. Bought a Titan (old Fuel) last year... very impressed with the tandem. It all depends how much you want to pay for a tandem.
  7. het die 305 nie ook daai ghost ding waarmee jy jouself teen kan meet nie?
  8. so if you weigh 92kg. What set of carbon wheels would be the best to buy?
  9. do you need a normal speed monitor if you have the 305?
  10. Cycle Lab charges R250 for a bike setup. If you buy a new bike from them it's free. And you get a full free maintenance plan on the bike. Remember to take with your cycling shoes... If you haven't bought a bike yet - just walk in and start chatting with the guys. It's their passion, and the chatting comes with no extra costs...

  17. is it alright to spray your bikes d?railleur and chain of with a pressure washer? then just apply the lube again? I do this with my MTB and think there is no better cleaning than that - gets everywhere.Decibach2008-02-27 04:20:53
  18. they left on Sunday? after race? and riding today? That is very unprofessional for professional athletes. At least a week there would have been much better. Good luck to them still....
  19. No thanks....this causes the hugest amount of junk to stick to the chain. Same goes for using wet lube in dry conditions' date=' at least on a mountain bike. [/quote'] Then what is the right stuff to use?
