I sealed mine originally with genkem, and about 4 weeks ago, I did a ride in pouring rain. Result: dead Garmin. After 3 days in the sun, compressed air and a 1000 swear words, it worked again. This time I sealed it with normal silicone. Just as strong as glue or possibly even better. Maybe thee garmins are tuffer than they seem ( after it has been modified of course )....
