  1. Hands down the best refreshment tables ever... amazing how good those salty baby potatoes are when you've been sucking down sugar all morning
  2. Also what a cool goodie bag. Just a couple of energy bars you can actually use instead of mini soaps and so on. Nice.
  3. Awesome half marathon for me slow as **** on only 3 weeks of prep after 2 months post op downtime but still such an awesome race with incredible views!
  4. Does anyone know who's doing the timing? I take it we bring our SAS number boards like previous years when it was under the MTN series?
  5. I've got one of these - they are awesome!
  6. Some Specialized stuff is just good. I have a friend who has a Santa Cruz Nomad and just yesterday he was saying how incredible his new Specialized MTB shorts were
  7. Had a few weekends now riding at Heia with my 1x10 setup... just loving it. I've found it's a little tricky to get the rear derailleur tuned properly but once you have it shifting nicely it's just a pleasure!
  8. Cadence has a separate Caffeine tablet (Espresso Caps) so the idea I gather is to just take those along with your energy drink if you want the additional caffeine kick.
  9. I've used the Classic Energy and was very happy with it, although I found it far too sweet when mixed as directed. There was a lightly / unflavoured range planned if I'm not mistaken, wonder what the progress on that is?
  10. Yup. I often say it's the one thing humans have perfected. We haven't figured out clean energy yet, or how to completely eradicate disease, but damn if we haven't perfected the art of selling stuff to people!
  11. Whatsapp launching a web client this week was awesome
  12. I hate the position USN puts me in. A few (a small few) of their products are quite good and I like using them: the toothpaste tube vooma gels, the new purefit carb drink, but a lot of them are just ridiculous. he first time I found out they did their own "PowerBalance" band I had the same reaction to boycott them. Now I just try to ignore all the marketing nonsense and focus on the individual products. I really wish they'd tone down the marketing though. Calling a combination of glucose, sucrose and fructose a "3-Stage Glycomatrix carbohydrate drink" is just silly!
  13. I read the title as "Tired after training" and thought: well duh If it only happens first thing in the morning it's probably not worth worrying about. With all the extra training you are doing you could just be running closer to your "minimum" net calory intake and are a little low first thing in the morning.
