The last time I pulled a wheelie on a MX offroad bike I flipped it and dislocated my shoulder - had to push the bike for 5km offroad before I got home as I did not take my cellphone with - lekker stupid. I decided, no, I was convinced that I will never try another wheelie intentionally ever again...

Having bought and sold a couple of items on line (not just on the Hub), I learnt quickly that neither "Dibs" nor "I'll buy it" retains the true meaning of the words. "Onco" is the word - or nearest cash offer (or EFT if it is a large amount). Too many empty promises broke the words "dibbs" and "I'll buy it"...just my humble opinion.

That depending on the type of internet connection and / or browser you have, most of the pics don't show or display correctly.

It took months of maybe 10 - 20 pages every other day, but I finally opened all the pages - all 1750 of them (had it not been for that glitch where a chunk of posts went missing).

Hi Tim, I lost a mutli-tool and pouch on the 40km - the one half (with a flat mutli-spanner type tool on the inside) slides on top of the main tool body (including a chain breaker) and had a black pouch.

This was my 1st proper 40km - I picked the wrong race! +25km of continuous uphill killed my legs and got cramps in both legs a just before the 3rd waterpoint. The downhill/eagle single track was absolutely fantastic (got 54km/h max on my odo at one point). I will be back next year, but much more prepared and hopefully much fitter. Cudos to the laaitie doing it in 02:12:52.

This was a great event!! We will definately be back next year to attempt the 6h or maybe the 12h event. Kudos to the okes that did this solo or on a single-speed . You guys/gals are either super fit, totally nuts or a combination of the two !!!

Thanks for the insights as this is our 1st entry, but only for the 3h event. We have some compitition going against my brother and a buddy of his (both much faster and fitter than me), so my son is gonna have to kick it in gear to make up for my lost time. We'll most probably attempt the 12h next year.
