  1. MyRace

    CSA

Hi Zoonie It is an accepted fact that there are too many layers in the current licensing process - a situation CSA have already taken steps to address - and your particular frustration is a direct result of these layers and not the incompetence of either CSA or MyRace For what it is worth, you card was printed in this weeks batch and you can collect it from CGC tomorrow afternoon. You should have received system confirmation of this fact?

Hi Roger, You need to get your club to approve the application. Even they loaded it themselves. Apologies for missing the PM. You need to check with you province why you were levied a day fee upon entry. JC

  5. Hi Tri - ple PM Id number...
  6. Hi Michelle You are correct, except that in this instance it was me who dropped the ball on your requst, not the system. The sponsorship issue has been resolved and a re-print of your cards will be included in tomorrows run. Sorry for the trouble.
  7. You all seem to be having fun with this so sorry to interfere :-). The 'elite' age cat to which you are referring is the UCI code (you will see the UCI logo on the cards now).. all Racing Licences are International Licences for 2009. (This age category only reflects on racing licences...btw) Normal age categories apply for domestic (and international) events...
  8. Driewiel Please check with CGC again - the card was delivered to them at the end of last month. If they still come back with a negative we will reprint and arrange to get it to you direct. 9. Hi Hansie Don't worry about your street number... CSA won't be coming to visit, we just need a location (X:Y co-ordinate) to allocate you to the correct sporting province. Cards will also be distributed via courrier to clubs/provinces not via post. (Too many get lost and we have no way of tracking) Feel free to send me a PM or call (078 800 6502) if you need help. Regards Justin
  10. No... it should be a little more efficient than that. There are a series of auto e-mails to confirm progress of your card as it moves through the approval process...... Eventually notifying you that your card has been delivered to the collection point Due to some recent changes in the prvincial approval process.. these auto-emails have not been activated. You should start to see them coming through shortly....
  11. Hi Tankman Changing the club is a little complicated because it depends on whether the club you chose has confirmed your membership or not (I am guessing not in your case but a manual check is still required) You can call me: 078 800 6502 or send in a support ticket: support(at)myrace.co.za and we will fix it for you... Regards Justin
  12. Neither Springs, Germiston nor R42 have registered with CSA for 2009. They can get hold of me or Carinus and we will be happy to help if there is a problem. As for CGC, we have no clarity from them as to how they are going to treat direct affiliation for 2009... e.g. form their own 'CGC Cycling club". In which case they also need to register one with CSA.
  13. This is another positive. Because CSA now have access to clean and accurate rider information, all racing licenses include a UCI code and international race licence component (less the extra R200!). Your ability to race outside of your age group (eg elite) will depend on your national seeding (run by CSA) and the event status... some exciting stuff in the pipeline. Carinus can respond in more detail if necessary... Guaranteed there will still be a few teething problems but we have been hard at work since last year, improving every aspect of the licence application and distribution process.
