    Upgrading

I would like to achieve a bike that can handle some jumps but I can also use for those weekend cycles that last for hours and sometimes days. Weight is not really an issue for me but I don't want a dead body like weight that I need to haul up the trails haha!

    Upgrading

I was hoping to be in that position yes, keeping the frame and gradually upgrading the components as I go along or in one go

    Upgrading

I understand, rather upsetting realising that they assembled this bike with the lowest spec components they could find! Selling this bike would be an option but how much would do you reckon I could get for this bike?

    Upgrading

I am investigating the posibility of either upgrading my current setup or purchasing a new bike. I have recently over the past year become very comfortable with my Specialized Camber Comp and would prefer to keep the bike but make some upgrades. I was hoping to gather some feedback, opinions and advice from the forum as to what should be upgraded and what it should be upgraded to. I am a big AM rider and like to keep it that way with the upgrading of my bike. 6. Ok... so an Extreme light arrived today and I am still confused as to why if it was firstly cancelled and my money was refunded but I am not going to complain about receiving a free light haha Thank you
  7. Strangely enough after canceling my order for the Extreme Light and receiving my refund, today I received a call from Groupon confirming my delivery address for my Pyro light! Haha they still not getting it right so will let you guys know what actually arrives tomorrow!
  8. Right... well I managed to get an Extreme light from a buddy of mine as a temporary loan unit until I can afford a light of my own. Busy charging it as we speak now and hopefully going to check it out this evening or over the weekend. Will post some pictures up
  9. Howzit Grebel, I am not sure of a specific shop in Durban but I can point to you in the direction of an online supplier that is dedicated to gravity riders who cater for your All Mountain/Trail, Downhill and Dirt Jump/Street riders. Great bunch of guys and I am sure that you will find what you are looking for. http://dialdbikes.co.za/ Good luck
  10. Just wondering if Jonkerhoek will be closed completely or certain parts of the trails this weekend due to the trail upgrades? Thank you
  11. Good morning fellow forum members, came across these lights from ilumenox and I was wondering if any of you have used one of these lights or have some experience with these lights. They look pretty good but I am very confused by the statistics that are given for each product and I was hoping that someone might be able to clear those up for other members including myself http://www.ilumenox.com/index.htm Thanks in advance
  12. Want to start joining you guys again as soon as I have my light, hopefully end of the month if not sooner
  13. Noted hahaha thanks
  14. Hahaha... so is the landing the more tricky part then?
  15. Thank you, learning to jump and land safely is a priority for me right now
  16. where can we sign up for some of these lessons? Looks good and great fun
  17. Excellent... made my day
  18. Hello, I am not trying to take business away from Green Light but have have a look at the following: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/117121-magicshinepyrolight-comparative-review/
  19. No... thank you for this very detailed comparison, really awesome and a great read
  20. Sorry... but your third picture in the trails... is that not a MJ-880 rather than a MJ-808?
  21. Thank you, really does help hearing opinions from other riders who make use of the equipment that others might be interested in. Pictures are worth a thousand words!
  22. Very impressed with what the MJ-880 can do, that is some distance that it can light up!
  23. WOW... it would never be that dark in my area with all the street lights... insane! Shot for the pictures
  24. Photoshop much in that pic!
  25. Sounds like it comes down to personal preference... everyone is different
