R133.33 a month... doesn't so bad if you compare it with say a gym or cell phone contract. depends how many routes and what sort of facilities they offer. a year of riding the same route with not be worth R133.33 a month for me!! If there is a lekker club house will good change rooms and sauna's etc. that would help justify the cost!!

I am sure the camera guys will bring out a camera soon that looks exactly like a light... the rider can then say that it is for safety. Can even have a small LED that flashes to look legit. an idea for the guys who HAVE to ride with a camera!

oh ya some tosser in a Porsche thought he was funny on my trip home last night, hooting at me like mad while I was as far left as possible. he came past me way to close, side mirror almost brushing my elbow. He then turned into the Spar parking about 200m down the road. It took all my strength to not give the Porsche a fancy pinstripe with my house key!!

I have some advice to ask. I recently picked up an old track frame, this thing is so clean no cable guides, no hanger, no brake mounts, no water bottle mounts. thing is I can't figure out what make it is, there are no decals and no impressions any where on the bike (most of the time the brand is stamped at the top of the seat stays). So I am keen to brand it very subtly as a Colnago with some World Champ pinstripes.. Is it pompous to brand something a Colnago if it isn't one? Will it be really lame? What would style man say? It's going to be a purist fixie i.e. no breaks, 25cm in length handle bars. bellow is a pic of the frame and what I am thinking as a respray.

yip 100% true is best. it'll wear your brake pads unevenly and could alse rub against your chain stays and damage the frame

it could also be that they are concerned it is feeding live feed back to rival teams ??

I used to worry about the 'pollution' factor of commuting but this is the second time I have read that pollutant levels inside cars can be up to 18 times higher than outside...

will do. I am joining the club so I plan to go on the organised swims, which they seem to do at least once a week. I am sure in Summer / peak tri season there will be groups swimming.
