i know its been said before, i feel it's necessary to commend these guys for outstanding service... called no less than 3 bike shops in my area on Saturday to do a quick wheel true while i waited, and could not be accommodated, called them who said i should pop in then drove all the way to cwc which is way out of my way, they fixed it in no less than 10 minutes! then ordered some pedals from them yesterday only to get a call stating that my choice of pedal wasn't available - could they replace for one better at no extra cost! i mean really! to top it all ,free delivery for orders over R500, my order also arrived today! why would anybody want to go anywhere else?

forgot to mention, preference is new, and this goes for R11500, which is at my ceiling.

Hi any opinions on this bike? comes with full shimano 105 i am looking to purchase a bike with a decent alloy frame and component set up - is this a good choice?

hi you can get an axis ,( ar10c) full carbon with ultegra all round for R17 000, comes with mavic aksium wheels check out their website www.axisbikes.co.za apparently they've replaced raleigh in SA and are owned by Scott according to a bike shop I've been to lately. maybe somebody else on the hub will have more info.

hi all i wanting some advice from the more experienced riders. i am starting in group U in this year's Argus , up from SS last year. what i would like to know is what can i expect from an intensity / pace point of view vs. last year's experience ? is the riding more structured as in groups etc? i have heard lots of stories , and admittedly getting a bit nervy at the prospect.

hi guys i am currently using polar with a speed sensors etc along with Endomondo on my training rides , i have however noticed that the average speed readings of the two always differ by about 2km/h (endomondo being slower ). now endomondo works on gps , so would its reading be more accurate ?

hi besides weight reduction , will a carbon fibre drastically improve one's ride from a comfort point of view due to its shock absorbing properties ?

not disputing the fact that people make mistakes , they need to take accountability for them when they do, not respond defensively. when i was in the store - it was quiet. and why should i tolerant sub standard service anyway?

would like to highlight a bad experience at cwc yesterday. called the store enquiring about a 10 degree stem, was then asked to send an e-mail with my request as they have so many stems in stock. so i send the mail and while waiting for a response i check the online store and actually find it and also purchased it and when to collect. only to then receive a response to my mail that they don't have any! I then decided to let them know that i actually found what i wanted despite being told that it wasn't available , to which i received the response, I quote: "and? they all only come in 10 degrees" ? this after being told they don't have any? pretty bad attitude i would say.

hi anybody use Ergo fit/ Ergo max bike set up? is it worth it? or are there better options ?

using a polar. went for a ride earlier and was still there! very loud.

checked all of the above. still there. will try to "zone" out sound!

hi just fitted a cadence sensor, however i have noticed a ticking sound on each revolution. is this normal? it's a polar btw.

Hi Guys Does anyone have the formula for determining km/h based on one's cadence? I am doing some training on the indoor bicycles found at the gym, but they don't provide a reading on speed, only cadence?
