  1. I got a set of the fulcrums in feb and absolutely love them!!! Cwcycles sell them for R2600 and in the classifieds there is a new set for R2200. Its a steal at that price!!!
  2. I wanted to go there first, but the guy who was doing it there has left so they dont do the BG Fit setup anymore.
  3. He either works from centurion or can come out to you. I went to his place. Cost me R750 for the fitting.
  4. I also went to him last week Friday, and he finalised my setup on Monday. I still have to take my new setup out for a ride though. He really knows what he is talking about, and explains what he does very well. Will certainly recommend him!!!
  5. I understand your point, but why is there then selection criteria for the olympics? If they said from the start: "We would select the strongest rider, and the other 2 will be chosen to support this rider" then fine, but you can't tell the girl that this is what you have to do to go to the olympics and then not pick her. Politics in sport is a biatch...
  6. Also doing the marathon this year. Only recently upgraded into the big boy class... Cant wait for this one!!! See you all there
  7. Gobi was to narrow for my backside so will see how this one goes... luckily I am prepared to at least give it a decent chance.
  8. Got it after I went for a BG fit on Friday. Hopefully this helps for my sore back...
  9. I got me one of these over the weekend. Still have to go and try it out though...
  10. I went for a BG fit last week and my frame is a bit to small for me so cannot get to the ideal setup... Also dont have the money for a new one so it will just have to do for now...
  11. I got the Assos Mille at solomons for R1800. I think the special is still running
  12. I saw a SB Storm at FPC gift acres on monday. Sexy bike that!!!
  13. How much climbing will we do on the 60km route?
  14. Another long shot. I lost my Cateye strada computer a while back at Groenkloof...
  15. I have not ridden the Mercury 3 but I cannot fault Silverback as a brand. Have been very happy with my 2011 Ventura. The silverback is definitely the best value for money!!!
  16. Well it is only a good idea if the 10 and 20km does not share any of the 40km route. Otherwise good luck!!!
  17. Just upgrade to the 70km and start nice and early...
  18. Hi Tim, Is it still possible to upgrade/downgrade entries at registration?
  19. It was my first Magalies Monster, and I only did the 40KM... Had a very nice ride, but those rocky downhills messed up my back!!! Great race though!!!
  20. Cant wait for this one. Doing my first Marathon
  21. Would love to test ride the element 950. When are you guys coming up to Gauteng?
  22. I entered for this event without any problems. Also doing the Marathon
  23. I was having a look at the Mercury Elite. Amazing value for money!!! Has anybody ridden the Silverback Dual Suspension 29er? How does the geometry compare to Scott/Giant etc?
  24. I currently ride the 2011 Silverback Ventura, and I honestly can't fault it. Great build quality, great components for the price. Have been riding it for the past year, and it is bullet proof. The only upgrade I have made is on the wheel set, but that is because I crashed the other set... You won't make a mistake going with silverback!
