Paul. I actually dont know how to say this. But feel you are painting all these stores with the same brush. Which IMHO is a bit unfair. My assumption is that at some stage you had a terrible experience at one or other Concept Store. Be it TREK or Specialized. (those are the 2 most prominent ones) **** happens all the time and store will drop the ball. Some stores more than others. Some stores are repeat offenders and dont learn from it. Its how you pick up the balls and fix the problemor issue at hand. Maybe at some stage give one of the other stores a try and maybe, just maybe, they will blow you away with excilent service and sound advise.

We had a run in with him at our store too. He was going to buy a bike by Financing it. After a lot of backwards and forwards. It came to light that he made fake document of his Mothers business and made himself a Director. All documents were fake. A person that is willing to defraud his own mother, is pretty special! If he is done in the UK he will move to other countries.

That is a BIOGEN band..... Ive got one aswell..... PB looks a bit different..... but the claims are the same..... Apparently same guys that make them for BIOGEN....

Why not just use a 9sp chain if you converted to 2x9..... It would be easier.... You could also have blocked your shifter and used your old front der...... On the 9sp link.... wel I think that it might just pop out while you ride (it doesnt sit as snug) And wil most probably wear out the chain at those links.....
