I also received my copy of the book over the weekend and could not put it down. It is a fabulous read for both prospective Munga entrants and past finishers. Rob has a great way of telling the story and sharing his experience in an authentic and unpretentious manner. I loved all of it!

What is the situation with drafting this year? Are they still adopting the laissez-faire approach of "draft away, as long as you don't want any prize money"?

I think that all of us on this thread - on both sides of the fence - should just take hands, sing khumbaya, and cross the finish line of the Munga together in the selfless spirit of ubuntu.

I fully agree. In fact, if I were Alex, I would look at video footage and award the win to the guy who crossed the finish first - even by a whisker. That should stop this cumbaya-nonsense going forward. As a wise friend so succinctly put it this morning: This happens when people are afraid of losing.

Aren't you mixing "finishers" and "entrants" here? Last year had close to 140 entrants, if memory serves.
