Its not real waterproof (IPX7 rated: submerged @ 1m for 30mins) and if you planning to do a 10 hour plus event, the battery will drop you. I guess if you are not a serious triathlete and only do events with a swim of less than 30mins then it will be ok. I have heard of people who ties the 305 in a condom and puts it under their swimcap for better waterproofing. Good luck with your decision.

Hey, I don't think Naas is such a tjop, please remember that Naas is not faceless, as all of you, on his website is his full name, surname, address and cell number. Its not that easy to name someone when you yourself is open to retribution. He has asked the original owner of the stolen goods to name the person through this thread, as the original owner has identified the stolen goods and will probably go to court, he/she wont risk as much as Naas naming the person here. Naas has made you all aware of a Capetown based skelm and hopefully the owner of the stolen goods will come forward and name the arrested Hubber. Just my 2cents

Hallo Louis Website does'nt feel like a scam, I did some google searches and cant find that it is a scam. Spoke to a sales agent and she confirmed they send to S.A. They are in Singapore and make sure to check their sizing chart, very small sizing, I am a up from a normal XL to a XXXL So I bought a jersey and bib set. Shipping was free and item totaled R402. Agree fully with the above from GrumpyOldGuy as I have done a couple ultras and one Comrades. To answer your question from my perspective, a 21.1Km half-marathon run has the same effort and effect as a 100km cycle race. The only difference for me is the time, half-marathon = 1h45 and 100km = 3h50.

Thanks Edman, the cenario you mentioned as per the link makes it virtualy imposible to ride on the right hand side facing traffic, totally agree with you. Pitty I did not find that link before posting the question.

Thanks, I don't have any experience riding in busy areas, so this would not have been a considiration for me. Although I ride on tar, my area has no traffic lights or busy intersections. This reason has made the most sense so far, much better answer than simply: "because the law says so". Never meant more vissable, thinking take evasive action if realy have to. My roads I ride on has no pavement just tar with gravel shoulder. Was meant as we are at the mercy of motorist for seeing us and hopefully not driving into us, some of them talk on phones, drunk or distracted.

As I said, new to cycling and it feels safe while running facing oncoming traffic. All over the hub you read "cyclest knocked over" "two cyclest killed". Sometimes motorist fly past me so close that it feels 10cm this way or that way and I'm another statistic. Yea I did'nt think of the law, same as I don't stop at certain traffic lights/ stop streets at certain times of the night for safety reasons. Anyways Im staying on the correct(left) side. Maybe oneday if all cyclest and runners face traffic then no one will have to give way and if you realy have to swerve then worst case you go offroad, puncture, rimbucle and scratches broken colar bone? But not cemetry.
