Similar incident happened to us this morning. Youngsters in a white bakkie came very close to us with the passenger hanging out the window clapping and cheering in an arrogant sarcastic way. Same thing happened last Saturday morning. Friday night revellers? It's happening too often though.

Had a lovely Tuesday Training date at Killarney. There were 2 x groups. The faster group did 4 x warm-up laps, and the next 4 x laps were 2 x sprints per lap. We had a lekker race - really enjoyed every second up to the end. I used to do Killarney in the old Robbie Dale days - at last just glad to do a Wednesday Workout again! Avg speed was 44.4kmph for Scratch + 1. -- Btw, anyone know what's happened to Robbie Dale?

We had a great race - always love this one! Despite the wind, everyone still seems to dig in and clock high average speeds. We were taking bets if the 2h barrier will be broken though - close call! Btw, if anyone picked up a cycle computer on the Mamre Hill climb, please let me know. Cycling buddy of mine knocked hers off by mistake. Our ThinkBike Marshal was kind enough to turn around and look for it, but couldn't find it unfortunately.. Thanks! PS Roll on 94 km's of D'Urbanvale racing! ;-) Closest race to me, no petrol costs, yipee! ;-))

The stronger the wind = more chance to get a lucky draw prize!

Well said ccc2. In the ol' Killarney days, any of the Scratch+1 guys who got points, had to move to the Scratch group at the next Killarney Wednesday event. Quote of the night - on the 2nd last corner of the last lap looking back at Scratch creeping up on us, "This is going to get interesting.." What a night of racing - can't wait for next Wednesday!
