Actually I think FS drivers are really bad.

To be honest with u. This road is actually the safest road to train on because it has a wide shoulder. Most races are also held on this road. This highway is not or as busy as in Gauteng

Hubby and I are currently roadies, but we are looking at buying our first mountain bikes. We have narrowed it down to the Silverback - Phoenix, Merida Matts 60-D and the Matts 100-D. Are these bikes the best bang for our buck in their price range? What are the important features to look at? Any other bike suggestions that might be better will also be looked at. I am so worried we might buy the wrong bike. We don't want to buy something now and then find a few months down the line feel we should have bought something slightly better. Advice please!!

I agree, fees are becoming rediculous. If you take you traveling, accommodation and all your meals into account, it is very expensive.
