I think that was a great thing to do from their side. Sh!t happens and things break, thats life. It is how they react afterwards that makes the difference.

Is the size correct. Had the same problem. Bought one shoe size bigger and ride with thinner socks. Also don't tighten the shoe strap to tight.

If I am correct they work on 110V and we work on 240V. You will need a converter box to change it.
