  1. Yes it is. Take the car to clarens and then cycle to fouriesburg and back! Best road ever
  2. I recently put my steed up for sale on the hub. Got it in September 2013. Got injured in January 2014. Never ridden it since. Got hip surgery January 2015. So hence my bike was spotless and not ridden much. Decided to keep it in the end since it is hardly used....
  3. I stand to be corrected. But carbon is more stiff than alu, so better handling. The vibration also feels less on a carbon frame...

  5. Hi all. I have started a MTB academy in Eastern Free state. Umoya Africa Academy. Check us out on Facebook and please like us.. So we have more than enough kit(shorts and shirts). But this is what we do need: 2 pairs of SPD pedals 2 helmets Gloves Tools:to fix our own bikes. Parts: to build one more bike(29er) and upgrade one of the old bikes(26er)..   8. The results are useless...well the ultra results...many riders bummed out after the 1st 75km...problem is they crossed the finish line..now they have top 50 results...what a joke...
  9. Platt and Huber will win I think.. Nino struggles with the longer rides...Hope Phillip Buys and Nino gets a podium....
  10. Road bike is a no no....You can take your Mtb and ride transbaviaans route in reverse.....or much of it... Great route...

  12. Thia was tuff...Felt like the altitude got the better of me in the first 40km but I found my legs (and lungs) in the last 20km..Did a 3:31...Route was cool, climbs hectic bit I can honestly say I will do this one again.. all and all great!!
