  1. Had a look at the Ant+ on google, would still need to get a heart rate monitor to talk to the Ant+ device. I know you get HR Monitors that are bluetooth and will talk directly to the phone but the problem is the bluetooth version.
  2. Yes I know that but if they have Discovery Point at a CrossFit gym means that they actually recognize that gym, hopefully striking some deal with vitality members.
  3. Interesting..... never seen it before but maybe it is a starting point I guess.
  4. I agree CrossFit must be done with proper certified coaches or you can get seriously hurt.
  5. So I have an iPhone 4 lying around and wanted to use it for Strava and Gym would like to get a Heart rate monitor for it but it seems that all the Bluetooth heart rate monitors are Bluetooth 4.0 (iPhone 4s & iPhone 5) and iPhone 4 only has Bluetooth 2.1. Anyone using a heart rate monitor on iPhone 4 that they can recommend?
  6. My gym also offers Cross Training it is a very good workout works on strength and fitness similar to Cross Fit, I find that the Crossfit gyms are just too expensive if you have to pay for gym and crossfit every month can work out expensive. Would be nice if the gyms could have a crossfit section or the medical aids come to some sort of agreement with the crossfit gyms!
  7. Finally managed to get some pics taken.
  8. I would split the MTB and sell off the spares. Not sure on the Trek R3500 sounds fair.
  9. Hi Guys, Came across this advert for a 3 bike rack on the classifieds section, I saw it was from autostyle new for R395! https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/72638-3-bicycle-bike-racks-fits-on-towbar-brand-new/ Anybody own / owned one? what are your thoughts?
  10. Hi Guys, I'm looking at buying a bicycle rack and came across the Sais Cycle Rack - Thelma 3. Anybody use one or know anyone who does? Are they decent and reliable? I had a thule express 2 bike but need a 3 bike ride on now. I had a look at Bicyclepower.co.za and they have it advertised for R2250, good price for a 3 bike rack from what ive seen. Any Comments?
  11. Also looking at this bike at the moment. Cajees is giving it to me at R9500. Is that a good deal? Not really sure was looking to spend a bit less but spec for spec this seems to be decent.

PM me and you can come collect it from me i am in Halpfway house. Thanks and keep it up.
  15. Agreed 100% the bike seems like it is original but no stickers but on the one side it's quite scratched and also the white has gone like beige from not being washed. It is becoming more clear that maybe I shouldnt spray it and just ride the crap out of it.
  16. Got a quote from bike art to respray the frame R2100. That's more than what I paid for the whole bike.
  17. Lol!!! I thought of powder coating but wasnt sure if you could.

  23. Hi all, hope i have posted this in the correct place if not i will move it. I am kinda of a newbie and as many of us i love riding my bike. I recently purchased a second hand bike which i would like to strip and rebuild as a hobby. I do however have a few questions which im hoping some of you might be able to answer. Does anyone perhaps know what frame this bike is? I would like to respray it as the frame has a couple of scratches. Any sugestions? DIY? or somewhere that can spray it? cost? Has anyone ever wraped their frame? Similar to those guys that do their cars??? Weight is not really an issue at this stage to me Thanks all in advance. Apologies for poor picture quality.
