I suffer a bit from overweight and a growing boep, so I think that I need to get my fitness level way better and only then will I be able to make a well thought through decision.

Flowta, I had 2 back operations in the last 2 years, now my lower back L4+5 got fixed and I can't decide if I need/want to change back to a full susser. I had a 26er Gt full susser which I sold before I bought the Merida ht 29er, what do you think?

I saw a Trek Top Fuel 69er frame for R2999,95 on Solomons website today. Will that be a 29er frame and how good a frame is this? Will I be able to do a rebuilt using my Merida Tfs500? Would it be viable to do this?

I'm not sure about any in Welkom, but you will find some nice ones in Bothaville which is not that far away. There was a nice mtb race there in the last month. Maybe you need to look for cycling clubs in Welkom and cycle with them.

I must say that this is a very inspiring story for us younger generation.

We have a problem with bicycles being stolen at the local primary school in the week before the school closed. Kids stealing the bikes for a guy in the township who strips the bicycles from all stickers within a few minutes. We are living in a small town and the kids started cycling to school and now this. We hate it when we have to change our way of life because of crime.

Well I am not that a serious or a pro cyclist, so I will be looking at a frame for less than R10k. Even if I can get a frame for about R5k it would be great.
