  1. Started Watching The Curse of Oak Island. I was looking for something different to watch, and I am actually really enjoying this reality series.
  2. Can you do some light exercise while on Antibiotics. I've picked up a tummy bug and currently on Ciproxx. But I feel much better now, and don't wanna loose out on some training?

  4. That is absolutely true. First get a good base to work from, then all the other things will fall in place.
  5. That sucks Andrew. Sorry to hear about that. My week of running also hasn't been like I want it to be. Lots of work stress made my legs feel like lead... So I struggled the whole week. Working tomorrow morning 06:00, so I have to get up at 03:30 for a long run.. But that's life, if it was easy, everybody would do it..
  6. Extra 10 min is a bloody long time for the 12h runners. I really feel bad for those guys. And Bill Rowan and Silver Cut Offs will be a tight one again... But they don't call this the Ultimate Human Race. Think the longer Route will Suite Camille Herron.

  12. After the Big Balls Up, Loskop will fix our entries.
  13. Nothing yet. Still waiting on Loskop to tell us what they will do
  14. So there is a big Balls up at Loskop Marathon. We shouldn't have entered via Webtickets. The online entries only opened up today. So I am waiting what Loskop Marathon will say that we must do.
  15. What Shaper said.... LSD Runs are important... You cant run comrades alone on just sprints. Those long hours on weekends help you to go fast....
  16. I have no Idea, Maybe it was because I had such terrible back pain when I ran years ago, that my body over compensate to help my back. So with that my hamstrings shortened. I think . But the problem with that is, I don't extend my leg as much as I want to.
  17. I dont really do stretching before a run. I only do warm ups and warm downs on my days I do hills en speed work. Its usually done at a slow easy pace. I must actually start doing stretching again because I have "spondylolisthesis". The physio showed me excersices to do, I am just a bit lazy to do them once a day. But I must mention, the gyming does help alot. Its just my hamstrings thats sometimes very tight.

  19. The only worry I have at the moment, is not over training, as I have a pretty good solid base to work from. My Biggest fear are getting sick from my aircons. Living in the lowveld with temp which is constantly at between 38-46'C is no joke. In and Out of my office during the day and getting back from a hot run into a cold house. So far my Vit C 1000 and extra supplements have helped.

  22. Mine also Automatically upload to strava and Vitality. Sometimes it just take a couple of minutes.
