Call a SGM.And mamil what is your suggestion on filtering trails from the website for members grading? Or do we throw everything in. If a survey is too long people will likely not participate making the whole exercise inaccurate and fruitless.

My suggestion is this, you seem frustrated with comments, yet your experience is satisfactory with the club as per how many other members. Now look at it from another angle put yourself in other people shoe's. would like more trails that could cater for bit more skill. slow tech trails. you are willing to help build and scout. you attend meetings and get blown off( and not in the good way) by the structures to be. the you also find out that you are not alone. you have no other voice or power. it simular in our own government structures where we have given up on, yet this is closer to home. how would you deal with this?

To an extend the labeling the one person that is vocal and his been vocal for a while is also unfair. the attitude you mention is also part of the issue since their is no unity among members due to perceived differences. We all want trails we can enjoy since we all pay to ride them. considering the Club is also on the forefront of endorsing Enduro racing along with giant, it will also be nice to see trails that are open year round, not just for the event. I do realise that some of this constraint is due to land owners. unfortunately the churlish whining you are talking about . . you are also contributing to. on another note the club has a trail list it would seem however i cant say I know the some of the trails, or i might know them by a different name, this maybe also a slight obstacle when creating a survey. any suggestions on how to simplify a list like on the site for a survey? https://www.tygerbergmtb.co.za/trails/

Trust me if give thermophage a tools, he will build the trail himself. Unfortunately, landowners and club bureaucracy wont alow it.

Also not constructive. Much easier for something that is existant to build maybe 4km extra trail out of the more than 150km considering we are all paying members. Its like 95% of the population is happy with what the anc is doing. If you dont like it, leave.

Ok this is my suggestion. Start with a mahoosive survey. 1. Let the club member rate their own skill level 1-10 2. Make a list of all the clubs trails. Dh/xc/uphill ec. 3. Ask the member which of trails he/she has ridden. With those they have not the reason with maybe 3 options. 4. Let the member rate the trail difficulty on fitness, technicality.1-10 This should give an idea of what trails ets used the most vs the least should also give an indication. Where the can fill in the gaps. Imight be wrong on this but I also see it as such. If you look at a bell curve . . If there are more green trails than black. Since I reckon fewer people are less capable than we think(i might be wrong) then treat the people on the green side better than those on the "black trail" side. . .( now its been established . . Sort of)
