I rode the TT route a couple of weeks ago on a road bike, pot holes filled very badly and surface very bumpy. Lots of turns, short and sweet climbs. Elevation 235m on total route. Not sure if tubbies on TT bike is a good idea. If you are doing TT it would be to your benefit to check it out the day before.

As the Champs takes place in PE it is a costly affair transport, accommodation, time away from family and work etc. If i wanted to do the road race 30-49(M) as a mass start i could just as well enter a fun ride, how can they bunch 20 years together it has never been that way in the last several years that i have taken part. Even the 94.7 manages to do a 10 year split. CSA license and membership have gone up drastically since last year, surely they are not cutting costs on SA Champs, as being the National Champs we deserve to be split by 5 years.This can only lead to accidents. Sorry but if is the case i will not be going. :thumbdown:
