I used wet lube in 2006, Finish Line green cap, and had bad wear on my derailleur pulley wheels. I switched back to Squirt in May 2007 till now and no wear! I also do much more distance nowadays. If squirt is applied the night before the ride, the chain will be clean after the ride! When applied during the ride, it works well but the chain is not as clean. Will never use anything else. Wet lube picks up dirt and grime and causes premature wear & tear.

Yeah, but I think Spray & Koek will only benefit female riders...

We just completed the Trans Baviaans race this weekend using a Revelation 3 light in our team. I was able to go screaming down Bergplaas after sunset at about the same speed as I normally would do in daylight. The light can only be described as "AWESOME". It was the best investment I could make for the race. Any other light can only be described as inadequate in comparison. I was left to ride in the front of the group most of the time, as the revelation would create such a dark shadow when I sit behind another rider. Eventually everyone would either ride next to me or behind me. The light is so user friendly and can be adjusted with ease during the ride. I was riding on level 5 on fast downhills and then level 3 or 4 on the slower sections. I eventually left the light on level 5 only because the battery life was so good and there was no reason to dim it down. Will definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys night riding/racing!

The seat post mount bottle cages will be at the LBS this week! Spoke to Victor Momsen yesterday. Similar to what they used on the Epic. Problem solved..

Got mine yesterday. It has 5 settings and the switch is on the back of the light housing. All I can say, freaken AWESOME! Can't beat this light, money well spent! Up till now I used the Sigma EVO X. There is no comparison. Will let the wife use the 2 sets of Sigmas until I can afford a 2nd Revelation3.

We just completed 2 day baviaans race of 68km/day. I normally carry the bike through the deep water crossings, but ride the smaller ones. Only lubed the chain before the each day and nothing during. Chain was quiet till the end and just a little dusty. Looks fairly clean.

I've tried various lubes. Being using squirt for the last 2 years now and will never use anything else. I always lube the chain off the bike, the night before and fit the chain before leaving home. The longer the ride, the cleaner the chain gets. I also never wash the chain, just wipe it clean and repeat the process. I use it for MTB use mostly. Dont apply it 5 mins before a ride. Do it the night/day before!

Need to buy a bike for the wife and took the GT Marathon 1 for a test ride. More of an all mountain bike than a XC bike I think. Did not like the amount of travcl it had. Too much to my liking. Specs are great on paper. Maybe I'm just biased towards the anthem....which is a great bike by the way. Had mine for over a year now and not sorry!!!!
