  1. Vodacom does have an operation 5G mobile network (was actually live before MTN) and supports a number of 5G handsets already, Samsung, etc. So, if they tell you they support 5G handsets, that is 100% correct. HOWEVER, Apple have not yet enabled iPhone 12 devices for Vodacom's network. This is a function of Apple, not Vodacom. When Apple push the new configs down to the phones, they'll automatically start working.
  2. Just saw this now, will DM you.
  3. You might have ended up with some of the games I wrote for him to sell with the computers!
  4. Yup,, my bad. Was Stan Katz. I always get confused between the two.
  5. Tony Factor's? He sold a lot of home computers. I wrote a lot of computer games for them in the early 80's. Paid me R50 a game.
  6. The VIC20 was called the VC20 in Germany because "VIC' had quite a different meaning there....
  7. As it happens, I'm busy restoring a few Commodore C64.
  8. Sad thing is that supplement companies are not regulated to the level of medicine, so they get away with these crap products, devoid of research and filled with crap ingredients. They wordplay on hormonal systems and it sounds all very scientific, so people fall for it. Testo-GH, Pure Protein GF1 (see what they did there), etc. And they've got a guy in a white coat on the ad, so it must be science. They make bogus claims and when someone goes to the effort to lodge a complaint, they just change the name and branding and go off again. Ever wondered why it seems USN have a new set of products every few months? They're one of the biggest scam companies around. Again, well documented. Time to market for USN from relevant Dr Oz episode; a few nano-seconds. Raspberry Ketones, Green Beans, Garcinia Cambogia, etc. all hyped by Dr Oz as a miracle fat loss cure (he had to admit to the US Senate he made it up), but soon you see the USN product on the shelves. No research to back up the claims. Some light reading on the topic:http://www.camcheck.co.za/usn-responds-to-camcheck/ Read to the end for a list of all USN-related complaints or articles. BTW, TheHub is credited in the article!
  9. But an easy place to get the ingredient labels. I've spent many hours on different HL sites in the past to get the ingredients. Unless they have to listed by law, they're mostly conspicuous in absence.
  10. Herbalife is well known as a scam and they even paid a $200 Million 'admission' fine recently. This is important as any company who puts a product out, purely to run a MLM, rarely will give any consideration to quality. Which will only reduce margin.. You do know that the vast bulk of Herbalife products bought by distributes - for reselling - never leave their garages? The few consumers who actually buy their products contribute an insignificant amount to their bottom line. This is the HL model, bully the distributors to buy more and more product, irrespective if they actually manage to sell them. This business model was a big part of the ruling against them. On the quality; just pick up a container and see if you can recognize the main ingredients. Most can't even pronounce them. And they're typically high in sugar. In summary, if you need an electrolytic drink while on the bike, consider coconut water. Here's a link that's relevant, with sample ingredient lists. Pretty much disease in a bottle. http://www.ancestral-nutrition.com/an-unbiased-review-of-herbalife/
  11. Tx!, will have a look. Can get them easily on e-Bay but was hoping for a local supplier to cut on waiting time.
  12. Mine are pretty much done, just need the adjusters.
  13. Looking for Sturmey-Archer components, as used on the Raleigh Chopper 3-speed hub. Does anyone know of where one can get components for them locally, especially the cable adjuster?
