Hi peeps. This initiative is now closed we want to thank each and everyone of you for your contributions. With everyone's help we have managed to collect R4850 plus Scotts own R1000 giving CF a healthy R5850 from which they can use for a bike and a helmet. They are meeting up this morning to discuss the best bang for buck We will keep you guys posted on progress and arrange for those all important pics at handover

My first suggestion would be to invest in a decant saddle that fits your rear perfectly...........Specialized bring their saddles out in different width sizing........and most stockists can accurately measure this. The idea is that the saddle should only make contact with them bum bones.................and not touch any other area. Fizik's saddles is also extremely comfortable in this regards.....

A "little" birdy told me that they are going to give it their best to get Scott on a 29r But I wont steal CF's thunder in this aspect.....they can announce their final decision them selves

Hi All Yip, today is D day We have contacted Cycle Factory and await them to advise the next steps forward to get Scott on a bike. As soon as they advised we'll update all the friendly folk here. We have collected a healthy R5k.......so a HUGE thank you to everyone. As soon as I have time I'll update the names list and forward to Scott to thank you personally.

If my calculations are correct we are standing at a very respectable R4500...which is almost exactly where we want to be given the outstanding effort and commitment we have from Cycle Factory to give Scotts bike to us at Cost Please my I ask that you go to their website and support them as best you can............They are super friendly and eager to assist with what ever requirements you might have We have also received assistance to get Scott's new bike kitted out by The Crow............as well as assistance regarding a new helmet from someone that contacted Scott directly. I can honestly say that this is one of the best things I have ever been involved in and consider myself extremely honored to be associated with all of you. The Hub Rocks !!!!

Morning all Thank you for the two Donations I received last night....... If my tracking is correct these where made by Willie and Pusher We are well on our way do getting Scott a decant entry level bike with a fund now sitting at R3850 For the people following this thread we are in talks with Cycle Factory and Tour De Frans to see where we can get the best deal for Scott.... As always, I want to thank each and everyone of you that's assisted and followed this thread to a point now where it's becoming a reality
