  1. The results from last years race show the total number in each group. From A down there are around 300 per group.
  2. I see mrs chainsaw will be mixing it up with the pros at the front so will have an early start. That gives us quite a while to hang out until the pleb bunches start.....
  3. Thanks. I see my seeding is 46.51 I never thought tom look on the ppa site as I have never done any ppa races.
  4. That's just about perfect! It will give me a 15 minute head start so you should catch me at the top of the m19 and then we can shoot down there together!
  5. As far as I know the groups only go to EL. Last year only 1700 odd riders completed the 100k distance.
  6. Ja it does seem a bit whacko. Were does one see ones seeding by the way?
  7. Just got my batch sms BL starting 07h20 Same 3 years in a row.
  8. People can be so darned touchy. I think everyone could do with a bit of harden up/ grow up medicine.
  9. In that case I hope I make it to the finish in time to see you on the podium. Sent from my SM-T805 using Tapatalk
  10. Shame man, it must be really tough having to make use of such terrible facilities.
  11. Lekker. So are you not riding in the open batches? Sent from my SM-G900H using Tapatalk
  12. And to all those who thought they missed the deadline I see that entries have been extended till 11pm tomorrow night.
  13. Kevin Pietersen considering playing for South Africa to make Test return http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/apr/10/kevin-pietersen-playing-for-south-africa-test-return Not sure what to make of this....? Interesting how he assumes he would automatically be selected if he was eligible to play for SA

  16. Number 3 for me this year. first time I did 3h20. Second time 3h15. I wonder if I have done enough training this time to do 3h10[emoji4] Sent from my SM-G900H using Tapatalk
  17. Joh! They must be feeding them a special kind of pronutro in France.
  18. I have in fact broken a chain when suddenly changing to an easier gear at the back when hitting a sudden unexpected incline but have never had any trouble changing down at the front in a similar situation. I guess the thing is to find what works for you and what you like riding and then go with it. For me I love my triple chainset thanks. [emoji4]
  19. I mean to shift from a big chainring to a small chainring in 1 shot while under load is a lot quicker than trying to shift up the cassette while pedaling hard on a sudden unexpected incline.
  20. Eish. A tough battle but I don't think the Saarks deserved to win.
  21. It is always a beautiful sight when Mvovo shows a clean pair of heals to his opposite number.
  22. But it is a lot easier on your drive train to drop a chainring than to try and crunch 3 or 4 gears higher on the cassette when under load.
  23. Time to #proteafire the coach?
  24. That last one reminds me of this shirt I saw one of the guys wearing on Gas Monkey the other day.http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81xhvXhcU0L._UY700_.jpg
