Great idea but have a buddy with a motorbike follow you rather, a car may be too wide on certain stretches and end up blocking traffic. You don't need that kind of headache from an impatient local.
I was at the turn when the first guys passed me. The only instructions I gave was to turn around, I was misheard/ignored/not heard correctly 3 times.
I had the same maps/gpx as supplied to everyone but everyone went the wrong way initially.
A further 4 direction arrows had been altered after that one.
I use komoot all the time and can give you a heads-up to check the route once you import a gpx, it can occasionally throw an anomaly such as the attached screenshot. For some bizarre reason it wants to use the pavement.
