  1. Eon, agreed - I have the same idea - I ride hard terrain fast sometimes (can't always brake in time!) and do not want to be scared of wheels failing on me ...
  2. Thanks David, Will mail you when I am ready. Looks like the Ztr Gold is not the option for me - especially re the weight. Thanks everyone
  3. Ok thanks. i don't want an extra mtnbike wheelset. I want to train/ride/do multiday stage races with them. What is best then? thanks
  4. Hi Anybody with with experience of these lightweight wheels? I would like an opinion(s). Spokes are very thin. I am 75kg. Weight limit is 80. Should I? I don't want to replace spokes every weekend. Opinions much appreciated Thank you.
  5. The same method described here. http://www.cube.eu/en/service/faq/faq-detail/article/how-do-i-determine-the-correct-frame-size/ Remember, only an indication to start. If your torso is shorter than "normal" you may end up stretching too much and after three or so hours on the road it becomes a problem . So take a frame size smaller i.e from 56 to 54. Best is to go to your local bike shop for advice after they have "assessed" your body build.
  6. Many bike shops have this contraption. Steps - stand barefoot on floor. Feet about 20 cm apart - Take something like a broom stick and "pull up" horizontally along the inside one leg as far as you comfortably can. the top end of the broom diameter to the ground is your measurement. - If you voice pitch is very high suddenly, you are doing it wrong ...
  7. Take inside leg, multiply with 0.66 i.e. if it is 85cm .66*85 =56 frame It is a good start.
  8. I get if for the cs 500(web sync), not the rs 800 (must use weblink)
  9. I have the Polar software installed and can upload via Polar weblink. This does not give me hrm files. Has anyone done this before? Thanks
  10. So how do I get hrm files from my Polar rs800. I installed Polar Weblink and can upload to Polarpersonaltrainer.com via the IR memory stick. Any help appreciated, I run Win 7. Thanks
  11. never thought about it that way - makes sense
  12. Tragic and unnecessary. Condolences to his family Very sad
