  1. I have done many Attas.. Dont be afraid to jump in to all the water crossings. Saturday looks mean..The river before the Spur waterpoint is a must dip point.
  2. Try the following it works... Take a small piece of wire after you open the sensor....contact the wire with the silver contact in the middle of the module then at the same time with the contact on the side .. Then put in the new battery This works.

    The Munga 2023

Kudos vir jou effords rus lekker ..Eerder jou gesondheid eerste

Superhuman I cannot see that record be broken for many years. To think the backmarkers are 700ks back.

    Ride in PE

If you start at Cyclo Pro at the containers there are many nice trails in that area ,there always seems to be someone riding in those trails.
  7. Hello has anyone got experience with 200AH tubular batteries. Im looking a a small system 24V 1200w with one 555w panel for about R 22k Stand alone for basic stuff in house and some LED lights???
  8. Looks like a bit of rain.. Number 9 how insane is that,, only going because all my PE peeps are going. Planning a mello ride. Over the years I have tried all kind of strategies- but only being like 66kgs that last 30ks kills me every year.
  9. My gate motor battery could not handle this loadshedding..Changed it to a lithium and all sorted ..it's the way to go
  10. I found that me Feet were swollen for some days ,my backside needed TLC and I had a bit of numb slang.. On the last 100ks i had Carpal in my neck and really struggled to keep my head up. I went down Bainskloof with one hand holding my head up. I had bar ends/tri bars /and normal grips that i just kept rotating and my hands we fine.
  11. What a special place, in 2021 we hiked our bikes down (((die Leer)) and overnighted in the Kloof and rode out the next morning. That a serious climb and January heat made sure we stopped at all the rivers for cool down.
  12. Thanks Gemmer great reading..as someone that has completed the Munga I can picture all the places you mentioned in the blog. I recall that nature reserve as a ~springhaas~ Raddit ran into my bike in that reserve. I was one of the riders that missed that turn ont the rail line road. When I left the RV later that day i had to go back and re-ride that section. I remember the winf being crazy on the way to Britstown.
  13. Theo I must check but I will revert
  14. Thanks I was quoted R 4500 inc --so I will give it a go. I chatted to a mate that runs a battery outlet and it seems the lead/carbons will become the go- to battery if you dont want to spend the money on Lithium.
  15. Can someone comment on 12v carbon battery VS lithium battery plz. Deep cycle is out as they dont last.
