  1. what is it that you guys do at the dome tonight at 6? i have heard about some fast riding around the parking lot at the dome, is that it?
  2. hi again i used the phedra cut for a 3 day period and didn't feel any discomfort or chest pain or anything, it just worked fine with me. It really removed that feeling of hunger you get sometimes while on your bike.
  3. what do you guys think? is it advisable to go for a spin the day before a race? lets say an easy 30 km.
  4. hi there 94,7 is fairly easy, last year i had been riding for 5 months when i did it and managed a 3:04 min. so you can definitely do it in four hours. on the magazine they give you so have some time references depending on what time you want to achieve, follow those!
  5. Hi there i got myself a pair of nice mavic cosmic carbon tyres for the road second hand but the thing is i dont know how to inflate them, do i need a mavic valve extension or what? i feel like a baby whose sweet has been taking away from him! please help!
  6. I normally race on energy drink and water on the road, and just in case i take a gel halfway through the race. as for the mountain bike, if i dont take the camel back then i take 1 gel every hour, they work for me very well. If i take the camelback then i mix water with energy drink in it and then only take 1 gel or 2 max
  7. i can confidently say that a 50 km off rode equals to a 110 km on the road. i did the telkom yesterday on 3:00 h (56km) and the previous week did the amashova in 3:00 (107 km). But i must say that after the mtb race you are more tired than having done a road race, so it is certainly harder.
  8. quite impressive, i guess most of us would have called it a day and stopped racing? also they have a team vehicle supporting, most of us mortals in the best case scenario have a supportive wife waiting at the finish line with a cold beer.
  9. a bit pricey i think that new bike park but i guess the demand for a safe ride is high and people will be willing to pay for it. we will see, i will definitely try once and see if it is worthy by myself
  10. it was an awesome race, much better than last year, a small section on the tar to sort out the field and then a huge variety of terrain, single track, jeep track, drop-offs, a bit of mud although not as much as last year, 1000 meters of climbing and some fast down hills. fun!!!!

    MTB frames

is not only the name, is the R+D that goes with it, the bigger the brand the more money they spend on research and the more reliable the frame. it is very simple
  12. arggggh, hell of a nice bike, if i only had the money!!
  13.
