  1. Wonder if that will change in the future as it all stems from the Leaky Gas days as team colours.
  2. He He, I also thought that when at first I looked at the pic.
  3. Viviani wins in Coloradov and re - signs with Cannondale. http://cdn0.media.cyclingnews.futurecdn.net/2014/08/21/2/14usapccstg4viviani_670.jpg
  4. As for the team’s color scheme — Cannondale has used a lime green in line with its former title sponsor, Liquigas, while Slipstream Sports has utilized a blue-and-white argyle theme for years — Vaughters said that lime green and argyle will, well, merge. “We’re leaving the possibility open that someone comes in as a first-name title sponsor,” he said. “But as of today, it’s going to be green argyle for next year.” Read more at http://velonews.competitor.com/2014/08/news/slipstream-sports-confirms-cannondale-sponsorship_341719#5dSGYEzAyFYmYcBH.99
  5. With you on that one Dale  Looks like they want to create more of a total American outfit, glad to see they are in talks with Ted King as well - he has been a faithfull stalwart for the team. Vaughters in control now, Italians out - wonder how that will work out - hopefully well.
  6. Hell - Vaughters had better announce his plans soon before there are no riders left
  7. Had 5 giants in total - rode my first Dale and since then never looked back. But yes try both and then make your decision. Lefties are brilliant BTW.
  8. Good news - so this post is helping to contribute to the stats
  9. Terrible,Terrible news - and just down the road from me. Condolences to all involved, my thoughts are with you.
  10. Sram and Shimano
  11. Basso was bust doping before he joined Cannondale - guess who with, Sagan's new manager.
  12. Not such a major after all: As Sagan has a custom EVO frame for his height and reach and given his concerns about the performance and comfort of a Specialised they will for the forseeable future use a Specialised branded EVO frame.
  13. At least we have a couple of months to get used to the idea :(
  14. Okay - well that was fun while it lasted !! Now to see what happens to Cannondale - looks like its going to Slipstream !!
  15. He has signed Juraj Sagan - done deal then wherever Peter goes he insists Juraj is there as well.
  16. News conference is about to begin - lets see what comes out of it !!
  17. I think Mr Tickoff will put unrealistic expectations onto Mr Sagan, he is still young and does not need this kind of pressure or expectations.
  18. Not sure - Tinkoff is busy insulting Peter Sagan for not signing with him - could be some kind of marketing ploy. Maybe Alonso is going to get his team of the ground in time if he still wants to sign with him. The rest of the Cannondale team are all in talks with Vaughters so it looks like that the Slipsteam deal is on the go.
  19. mmmm - Tinkoff tweeting he has not signed Sagan and he that he is going to Alonso On the other hand you never know with Tinkoffs tweets whether he is talking *** or not !!
  20. Thank you - will refrain from Posting Lefties - as you might have guessed this is for my Cannondale. Will look at the options - might have some more questions later
  21. 24/36 chainrings on the front with a 11 - 36 on the back. Might be difficult to replicate - not sure
  22. I like the simplicity and spend most of my time on my big chanring with my current 2x10 setup. I hate changing gears on the front - prefer sticking in one gear and changing up and down on the rear - especially when the going gets rough and dirty. I used my Granny once this year and that was at Sabie, if I changed would have to just HTFU on that climb.
