  1. Just face it a proper gamer would own one of every console + pc. O yes and boardgames + cardgames + tabletop..... Then add Cycling into that horrible mix and you need a winning lottery ticket to afford it all. Must say my 1060gtx runs like a dream for almost anything I want to play. It did catch a slight dip on ultra with Shroud of the Avatar. and PUBG is so stupidly optimised it runs same on pretty much all settings (okish) Been Considering a Proper open world RPG again... but I dont really want to be that addicted to gaming again.
  2. I went for matching tattoo's last year with wife on wrist, So i got asked about the one I have been planning forever on my calf... turns out its cheaper to do calf and wrist than separately. All gun ho I chirp sure lets go. Wrist was nothing didn't feel it, healed within 2 weeks. The leg.... Felt like someone was using a hot poker to draw lines on leg with this line running down the middle burning like hellfire. Was worth it but when he hit that line I almost cried. Ill post some pics when home from work
  3. Yes sorry for delay missed the post. Wife now past the 34 weeks mark and worries about early no longer a concern. Wife has developed some sever allergies however and is coughing up a storm, unfortunately nothing can really be done to resolve this past the meds already prescribed. Its slightly heartbreaking not being able to help or make things better. Wife is insistent that little one will still be early with amount of activity she is showing Congrats Robbie Go buy big tub of body butter at bodyshop (let wife pick scent) they have 3 for 2 special atm.
  4. This could be a big money maker! Depending on the amounts of fake blood/Special Effects.
  5. Thanks I forgot too mention Wife got released this morning.
  6. This thread inadvertently gave me some peace of mind the last week. My wife went into labour at 30 weeks due to infection. Last 3 days we were sitting in hospital waiting too see if the medication managed to stop labour. Many times the fighting spirit shown by little Karmi provided me with some comfort that there will be hope for healthy baby and mommy at the end of this ordeal no matter what happens. Karmi is growing so fast! good too see things going well
  7. Fortnight Also new battle royal style game (Free to play). Bit more cartoony smaller map. I have not gotten around to it tbh but heard its good for a fun go. On a different note firmly Believe this whole early access thing is a scam tbh, Pubg, H1Z1 KOTK, Fortnight, Dirty Bomb and Paladins are all games I have given a go and the overwhelming feeling I get is they use Early access to explain away any bug. They also never officially release (H1Z1,Dirty Bomb and Paladins been in early access more than year). Even when games are fun they seriously lack some refinements, Others should have released yet they keep driving the microtransactions rather than selling a finished game. I say this as someone that has actually bought access/supporter packs. Might be time to just go ride a bicycle rather than get frustrated.
  8. As a prospective father the road they traveled is a stark reminder of what can go wrong, and how against all odds the little one can still pull through. Hope they enjoy having bundle of joy at home and can continue with all the good news and mile stones.
  9. Played some PUBG on friends account, its fun but. Playing H1Z1 King of the kill now, same theme but much faster, better optimized. Also playing some Dirty Bomb (free to play) Its a mix between Wolfenstine Enemy Territory, CS, and Quake. Upgraded to a GTX1060, But overwatch stalled out for a bit due to it becoming more grinding than fun. Might give it a go tonight but more than likely gonna play Dirty Bomb or H1Z1 as well.
  10. My wife understands...... since she also plays, but I pay for the privilege of understanding (double copies of games and 2 pc's to maintain).
  11. Must agree thats more than a weekend project for me too. But I must admit its due to the working space constraints. My Current woodwork consisted of installing edging in bathroom... looks pretty good tho. Cupboard panels are being cut while i'm in JHB for the week. Saturday I can buy my fasteners and install YAY! How do you guys seal the chipboard raw edges before assembly?
  12. Starcraft 1 is now free to play starcraft 2 is only free for multiplayer however. Tomb Raider is good option Going bit old school Prince of Persia had nice puzzles. Mass effect is a personal favorite however have yet to play newest one. Sid meiers stuff usually gets bit too involved for me.
  13. Mine are hidden so never bothered asking.
  14. Sounds like my tiling job....... I am sure i did better than most tilers tho. Next time I will comfortably refuse to tile uneven walls. Designed the cupboard and placed order for cutting chipboard today. not quite woodwork but closest Ill get till done with bathroom.....
  15. I actually like these defects on home jobs these days. It shows I learned something while working, sometimes I avoid ripping it out with one simple thought "Contractor would have done worse or charged crazy school fees". I figure few years down the line Ill have to redo some things again and I can do better with that run. Eg downstairs floors getting redone soonish
  16. He is selling the sink with the house so don't think OCD will enter. I would be thinking about k@k job I did for next year.
  17. My one friend had that problem..... His new gf plays games with him.
  18. Don't think ill ever see those tools in the shed. Bar lottery win or finding old one that I can refurbish. R80k will definitely not be standing around in my immediate future.
  19. I bought a De Walt drill when I went big boy tools. Cost was about same comparatively between the lot, the balance and feel of De Walt was just hands down the best.
  20. Agreed but with takealot I can see some Deals coming at some point in future!
  21. For those of you guys getting Ebucks to spend on takealot, They now stocking Makita and Hitachi. Happy spending!
  22. 50km Had one bump that threw out bottles galore, counted about 8 bottles littered there (yes i was riding almost at back). Other than that only saw 2 wrappers, with best intention to pick them up, bending was not part of my capability at that stage. Strangely I feel fine today except for the sinus infection having gone completely haywire again.
  23. I am sure its a habit building event. Bad habits translate to all surfaces.
  24. I did cnc work when at tech. Was fun, currently fiddling with the concept of building a A4 - A3 size cnc router/Laser/Printer. The costs on decent rails/steppers/controllers is quite costly without even going into the alu parts required (still considering other materials ). Cost wise your looking at R3K upwards without a spindle/laser/extruder/frame.
  25. Fortunately Overwatch doesn't have memberships on pc and atm no payed DLC. EA follows the payed DLC route however. So I realized even tho I play healthy amount of Overwatch I only have 50 Hours worth of play.
