  1. Apparently the crawler crane can lift more than 1kg and easily enough to tip it off balance. Damn I so badly want one :/
  2. That sounds awesome! Its a toss up for me between: Lego Acrox 42043 Crawler 42042 (cheaper one of lot) Volvo 42030 The Crawler is cheapest and looks incredibly complex. The Acrox has pneumatic actuation (Something I always wanted) Volvo is remote control doesn't really need more said. Ideal world lottery would be won right about now and then I would get all 3 with my new Banshee Spitfire while getting ready for a trip around world. Unfortunately salaries dictate so only one of the above will be acquired.
  3. My friend wants that crane so he suggested he buys that and i buy the crawler and build then swap, so we can build both
  4. Lego is only a better investment if you keep it MIBS. Unfortunately that would mean I would need to buy 2 of everything (there is no way I will just look at a box, that I can do in store as well).
  5. I formally hate this thread! The cranes and wonderful lego makes me want to build some too.... Unfortunately ill have to order online as local stores are empty....
  6. This one? http://cache.lego.com/r/www/r/technic/-/media/franchises/technic%202014/products/box/final/42030_box1_na_1488x841.png?l.r2=1702452971
  7. Man this is making my CC jealous :/ how am I supposed to spend less and save money with reviews like that! (Looks even better in the home photos)
  8. I don't take my car for a wash in SA, to be fair tho I don't wash it often either. My Bicycle gets washed every ride (or I try at least). Eating out costs sucks
  9. I see this threads has gone a bit off the rails, so ill ask with all the pretty pictures (without rain) what is the ugly?
  10. That makes any lego owner a MAN its super expensive toy
  11. Spez shop in Somerset West offered me a Spez FO2 in EU49 as the 48 is slightly small they did say it was in stock at supplier but not in their store. I just couldn't take out 2.2k at the time(still cant). Was last month btw
  12. Just buy some of creator sets I happened to see bike shop today in Toys r us thinking of going to get it! Super cool looking
  13. I am fortunate Somerset West has almost no lego stores we have one toy's r us. So I buy online only. Maybe one day ill go visit some proper lego shops
  14. http://www.takealot.com/lego-star-wars-at-dp-pilot-75083/PLID34170015 On sale today
  15. They are cheaper than most online retailers but about on par with in store from what I gather. They do have the ACROX
  16. http://www.blokker.co.za/Lego-Advanced-Building/Lego-Creator/Lego-Creator-Bike-Shop-and-Caf%C3%A9 Perfect to fill cycling and Lego needs
  17. Toy's R us tends to stock some of the lego stuff first. I know one of my city sets I got there and so far have not noticed it stocked elsewhere. But usually the pricing is expensive, takealot is cheapest. Either way this thread is killing willpower :/
  18. The darkside is so tempting! Fortunately I have a renovation killing cash flow atm so ill be safe for little while
  19. O_o Wife wants the new Collectors X-wing Red five. I'm partial to the Death Star!
  20. I stay away from star wars stuff, range is massive and I can already imagine my money disappearing, Wife is a massive starwars fan!
  21. I built the dragon then scorpion then redid dragon as I liked it more My lego is bagged per set and boxed for next time I want to assemble. I enjoy modifying so ill build a model then "Edit" it with other additional blocks, Then after few days ill start itching all over and build everything as per original instructions. Few days later ill bag them up again to prevent sun fade. I often look out for new sets creator stuff definitely is best value IMHO. I do like the city stuff and the Technic stuffs. Technic cooler models are just so expensive. Fortunately I don't have kids yet so lego all mine. Wife once suggested that its fine when we have kids they have lots of lego to play with ...... I was unimpressed with her.
  22. Yea its the Creator 31032 set
  23. I bought this over Weekend one of my new favorites. Fully articulates!
  24. Uhm If you mean its not a MOC then yes I would order the individual bricks. If you mean you hate MOC's then i'm sorry for offending but still like it I have few outstanding bricks for one of my sets that Ill order early next year and i can easily add stuff. Postage to SA sucks donkey #$%#$ tho.
  25. I want one!! looks super cool Next Bricklink order might include that
