  1. Finally. If you would like more pics, i'll gladly WhatsApp them through.
  2. Howzit Psycotics. Been off the bikes for a couple of years, as the knees didn't enjoy the attempted upgrades... Looking at offloading the bikes. What do you think it's worth? Cotic Simple Large / Mavic SLR wheels / RS Revelation Fork / SS & Geared attachments / Ritchey Trail Seatpost, Stem & Handlebar / Avid 9 Brakes / XT shifter & derailleur 1x10 / Spez Phenom saddle. Bike is in really good shape. Will post a current pic shortly.
  3. I'd put one of those stickers on my back window. Next to the 1.5m Pledge sticker that is there already. And i hate stickers on car windows....
  4. Shot in the Pilansberg last week.
  5. Looks like a wet weekend ahead in Ballito.... Think I'll stay on the Highveld.
  6. I've just put in for 2 weeks leave, thanks to you Dusty.... Please post itinerary, if you have it on hand.
  7. Took the Messers' round Kyalami yesterday. Let the wife tag along... I ride a couple of loops in the neighbourhood (normally alone during the week), but I was really surprised at my wife's constant concern with safety. I don't think she got to enjoy the ride at all... Sad the mental state that we are constantly in, in sunny SA.
  8. I have a RS Reba XX with a straight steerer , with the lockout lever. Interested?
  9. Quick pic. Cant wait to get it out to VG, or Haka.
  10. Pulled the trigger and installed a Revelation on the Cotic. Definitely a LOT stiffer than my RS 100mm QR straight steerer model. Only done one run on it, but it is super plush on the downs. Climbing feels the same. I didn't measure the BB height prior, but it looks and feels higher, so no pedal strikes in future. It does seem slightly slower through the tight bends. Quick right and left is no longer as quick, but I suppose this is due to the longer wheelbase. Running the fork @ 130mm. Might have to drop it to 120mm but will give it a chance to settle in.

    Formula 1...

I'll leave this here... Ham was clearly catching up to Ros. Lap times show this. Tyres, talent - doesn't matter. If there was a yellow flag out just prior to the collision between them, why did Ros overcook the entry into the corner? Slow mo clearly shows that his wheels were still going straight, whilst Hamilton was turning in, on the outside. Think Ros ran out of talent, and made a shitty decision. Merc could have still had a 1 / 2 on the podium. Not a fan of Rosburg. As for the booing by the other camp, loved the way Ham handled it in the interview.
  12. Probably 20 lengths, between 2-3m in length, and I reckon 50-60mm in thickness.
  13. Some pretty impressive work here, Gents. Who knew.... Need some advise. Doing a full renovation & addition (what was I thinking...) and part of the project included replacing all the trusses in the original home. So I now have a bunch of timber, that looks worse for wear; and I would really like to clean it up a little, to utilise as a work top / bench in the garage. The biggest challenge is that they lack uniformity in thickness. Would I have to run them through a "thicknesser" or a plane? I have limited woodworking tools (belt sander & orbital) but other than cleaning up, don't think I would be able to get the uniformity. There used to be a community workshop near Ghandi Square a few years ago, but that is no longer. Would gladly hire equipment, or pay for expertise. Any ideas / suggestions appreciated.
  14. Hi Cotic fans! Anybody running a 130mm RS Revelation on a Cotic Solaris/Simple? Can't find a 120mm and my 100mm is due an upgrade...
