  4. Hi Avid Juicy five brake levers: My front brake lever is not returning to its normal position once compressed. The caliper is fine, and the brakes are not dragging. So when I pull the brakes, the lever is really slow to return to its normal position, almost like the piston inside the lever side is getting stuck. I have bled the brakes, made no difference. Any idease?

  11. Hi Just as a matter of interest what is the most widely used chain lube in SA. I use squirt, it works great but I don't enjoy the "waxy gunk" build up around chain rings and cassette that I seem to get with this product.

  16. Forgot to mention I also put a new pump in the washing machine. Just retro fitted my house with down lighters, replaced all the switches on the walls, and just about to put new piston and rings in my old two stroke lawn mower. So I guess I do kind of know how to use my tools, the question is do you??
  17. I wished you knew how to use them!! I would like to think that I am pretty handy when it comes to bike repairs. I do all my own servicing, bleed brakes, wheel bearings service /replace, re-build shimano free wheel bodys ect I would just love to learn how to build wheels. mmm, that brings me to my next point, how to make a home made wheel jig..
  18. I don't only fix bikes, its kind of a general tool board, bike stuff is to the right. I would be a full time bicycle mechanic if it paid better. The old bottle cage is really useful for all the little odds and ends.
