I bought 700mm for my 26" as the 640 I have on now does not feel "comfy" - hope was not mistake - must still get grips on them and then fit to bike

Great mtb shoes - have been using mine for the last week - thought I was gonna miss the clipless setup, but the 5.10' are very sticky and enjoying my time on the bike now. Just a pity these shoes are so d@mn hard to find in SA oh yes and just fetched my brand new fizik Tundra 2 from the post office which I bought from a fellow Hubber

I agree communication is key - I recently purchased 2 items from Hubbers I have never met - and had great expierence. Don't want to bring other forum names in but the iTrader systems used on Carbonite is a sure way to indicate which sellers are trustworthy, just an idea (mods)

went for quick 15km XC ride with my new Shimano MX80 Saints pedals and 5.10 Freeriders today, cannot really feel a great loss in pedal effeciency vs cleats - was lotsa fun, don't think I will be going back to cleats especialy after my big fall 2 weeks ago. Happy with the Saints

Made the flip to Flat Pedals: Bought Shimano MX80 flat-pedals and 5.10 Freeriders, going to try it out this weekend!!!

My wife also joined the MTB craze, was worried will be bit hectic for her, but she is already trying to master bunny-hopping and we are having great fun/laughs on the trials. Gluck finding a bike, sure you will find one soon.

Hi Ok, so got the MX80 Flat Pedal and now searching for shoes that won't leave me bankrupt. Tried to get 5.10's locally but no one has stock and import duties to much to import. Any other shoes locally availible that will work with the flat pedals - tried my Nike running shoes but no grip at all (sole is not flat / stiff) Thanks

Hi was a Rant now a Rave :-) Been a-while since I had such a bad online shopping experience... Placed a online order for 5.10 Freeriders Saturday, the 22nd. On Monday during the day I waited for any sort of reply informing me on the progress etc but nothing. Bewteen 3 and 4pm (Monday) I started phoning them and no one could tell me why I have not been contacted or even the progress on my order and said they will give me a call asap - at 11:00 today still nothing and decided to phone them to enquire - I started with the whole story again and got same reply they will contact me asap I decided to rather cancel the whole thing.
