  1. This week I got my MRP AM Guide from Zion Bikes. Took me under 10 mins to fit with correct spacing. Works like to charm. No added friction or noise. One the first ride I did, a buddy of mine dropped his chain twice one the same trail, running the same setup with a Zee clutch mech, and narrow-wide ring. I am not going to be getting that problem any time soon. Really stoked. The bash plate is going to come in handy when the downhill season starts again. Contact Brenton from Zion Bikes to sort you out. This stuff is legit!
  2. Shorts are available too. I just already have RaceFace ones.
  3. I'm just going to leave this here... The Alpinestars kit (jersey in the pic) is available at The Bike Shed.
  4. I am quite tall (1.94) and that is a large.. haha. Probably the first bike I've owned that actually fits.
  5. Im just going to let this float around here.... On a side note, the Alpinestars kit (jersey in the pic) is exclusively available at The Bike Shed!
  6. The Force is strong in this one!
  7. Here she is then, in all her glory. Props to Bibi! First ride on her will be tomorrow at the Helderberg DH race. So stoked with the spec.
  8. Stuff this, no more hiding, I'm flying.
  9. Stealth FTW !! that is hot. Congrats!!
  10. As long as you ride bikes, you can't really grow up...
  11. When I grow up.... http://www.pinkbike.com/news/bryn-atkinson-in-santa-cruz-video-2015.html
  12. Sneak peak then. haha. Complete build to follow when I have time to take some proper pics
  13. There is another Pascoe hitting the trails. Compliments of Bibi. Pics to follow soon, looks like my first ride will be the Helderberg DH Race this weekend. Should be interesting!
  14. That is basically a DH bike with a dropper and a bit less travel. Nothing wrong with that
  15. If I do take the high line it would be because it was by accident or I had a good long look at it and decided it would be more fun
  16. Wish I could corner like that
  17. This was taken last week at Jonkershoek. The Reign has to be the most fun bike I have owned.
  18. Taken last week at Jonkershoek, already day dreaming about tomorrow's ride.
  19. Just in case some one is interested, I have a Giant Reign X. I recently replaced all the bearings for the suspension pivots at Giant in Durbanville (awesome service BTW) and after a ride at Jonkershoek I noticed some play in the rear suspension. I had a friend of mine machine me some bushes a while ago ( a month or so ) and well, they were worn out, completely. See image. Turns out that Fox make mounting hardware in various sizes to fit different frame sizes and shocks. Again Giant in Durbanville sorted me out instantly while I was in the store, even though they were lank busy. No more play and it seems that this could be a more permanent fix! Most of you probably already know this, but I was uneducated and thought that I would share.
  20. Waaay too much. Internal cable routing, all those pivots and the name probably best describes the price. Cant see this bike being easy or cheap to maintain, so unless you re racing EWS or you have a private mechanic with parts, not for me.
  21. Always great to have choice, and a STAGE fork as that choice.
  22. Took this today at Jonkershoek. It was hot, but worth it Rider: Brenton (aka Bibi)
  23. http://www.pinkbike.com/news/video-kali-maya-2015.html I'll just leave this here...
