  2. Rode there 1 week before lockdown and then today. Massive improvement. Thanks guys keep up the good work. It’s appreciated.
  3. TR group workouts is a massive game changer. being able to group train from the comfort of your man cave. riding partners and friends motivate each other to push yourself beyond your limits. kudus TR
  4. Did a ride today at Modders. Very disappointed. No real change to the foliage pandemic that has gripped the reserve. I am really hoping its a "work in progress" They have new signs however for colour deficient riders its difficult to distinguish between the two orange arrows.
  5. Hi Can anyone assist with some logistic questions. 1st time rider here. Flying from JHB. Is it best to fly into George and out PE airport? Is it best to get an airport shuttle that they advertise on their website or is it best to hire a car. Problem I see with hiring a car is that an unregistered driver will have to drive the car from Willowmore to Jbay and I cant fill in the form as I dont have the vehicles particulars yet. To me airport shuttle seems best option therefore it leads to my next questions. Does the race or the airport shuttle over the service to take your bags from start to finish? I plan to complete the race in the early hours of Sunday AM and plan to fly back to JHB on Sunday as well. Is it best to get a small airbnb to shower etc or are there showers at the finish?
  6. Hey all Anyone done this race and 36One? Would love to know how they compare ?
  7. What tyre pressure would you recommend from your past experience? Also what size wheels did you have?
  8. Great event. Tough terrain. Only gripe was the end. Very unnecessary to make us do a loop in Highland Gate especially when not on gps file and very dangerous +200km into the event.
  9. Hey Anyone have an Ant+ they willing to sell?
  10. Selling my Fenix 3 - 1 month old - call me if you interested 0845000378 Excellent watch but have been forced to sell
  11. Shame, hope you wife has a speedy recovery. My father also had quite a nasty fall on the green route around 1pm on Monday. Big thanks to Dessy for helping and organising a bakkie to pick him up. Also need to mention John and your wife whose name my parents cannot remember for you help. Last but not least Mica from the Parks board who lifted him back to the parking. No broken bones but some seriously decent bruising and cuts on his face. He will be making a full recovery!
  12. Mk don't psyche yourself out before the race.
  13. What was your time? One of the few to say it wasn't that tough.... You must be one tough mofo
  14. A good mate of mine did it last year and said it isn't as difficult as you saying
