  3. Well, naturally, it's yet another example of pro cycling following the rules of Who's Line Is It Anyway...
  4. Ah, there you have it.
  5. No idea. I heard it on safm's sports report, will see what else I can find on it.
  6. Dunno if it was mentioned here, but I heard on the news this morning that SKY are making all staff and riders sign a document that they have never doped or face immediate dismissal from the team.
  7. Can they perhaps, with a kind word or two, leave that Gouws bastard in the middle of this?
  8. Ok, but I dunno where that is.
  9. Anyone here know where I can get scissors sharpened? East Rand-ish...
  10. My babies are fast. Seriously, the rest of you, tell us your browser, so it can be addressed.
  11. Works like a bomb. What browser you on?
  12. Easy tiger. I was putting my kids to bed.
  13. Ok, hang on.
  14. Yeah, that was more or less the same as my experience with them.
  15. mtb on IDT? WTF?
  16. You all using the same browser?
  17. The math you'll have to ask JB and others more learned than I. I only have experience.
  18. Could be related to some recent issues. Clean out your browser cache, and whilst you are at it, delete your cookies. Restart your browser. Then let us know.
  19. Yes. The triple chainring just offers the simplest example of the extreme ratios to which the long cage dérailleur is suited. Like I already said, the other guy's 1x9 setup will work fine with a long cage, as with you example. Take it or leave it. As example, show me the teeeny tiny inside chainring from a triple that will work on a regular two x's setup that makes your example work.
  20. Always, or a new issue?
  21. I moved your thread, um, A bit more info on the problem would help.
  22. Yip. I'm a fan of conservation of resources.
  23. Lots of things that aren't technically (and I don't meant a colloquial technically) correct work. Doesn't mean they should be used. In your case, a long cage will work. Hell, a long cage will work on a road bike running 39/53 and 11/21. But you asked, and the correct answer is you are using the "wrong" dérailleur.
  24. Sky is just hot air?
